Post subject:  From friends to... friends? What the hell!

*** I don't know if here is the right place to post it, but I'd like to give it a try***

Hey guys!

There is a question that I'd like to be answered. First of all, I've to tell ya how things are at that moment.
Almost 2 years ago I've met a girl in a cafeteria at the city (small city, by the way) that I was just an undergraduate. We were having a conversation with the waitress but not talking to each other yet, until the waitress (friend of ours) introduced her to me. Let's call her "Amanda".

So, from there on, we were having a nice conversation as well but for some reason (most of the times, she likes to behave like a man. Fortunately (for her), she used not to swear) I was not interested in her, but we became good friends. As the time flew, I started knowing her better but then, at that time, I had to empty the house and leave the city. I usually visit the city twice or thrice a year to see some friend that I've done, and even classmates and chess team's colleagues, but I used to meet her too.

Recently, Amanda rent an apartment and hadn't yet moved into the new house. I asked her to give the keys so I can sleep there (alone) because I had some works to do in the city and she agreed without making any question. This happened twice. The third time I asked, she said that she wanted we to sleep together. The only problem was that the mattress was not for a couple, hahahahaha.

I have to say, guys, that the only fear I had was if I'd done something wrong probably she'd kick me out her house because I had nowhere else to stay. This sh*t happened twice or thrice. After reading some stuff from the FORUM, watching some Gambler's videos and reading some other stuff about NLP, I start thinking enough differently.

The last time (couple of days ago) I visited the visit, I met Amanda. She was there waiting for me to hug her and kiss her... FRIENDLY, because every single time I was trying to approach her, she started talking about "Nick" (an "imaginary" BF. Amanda likes the guy but she didn't realized yet (or maybe she don't want to) that Nick doesn't like her at all). Of course I don't give a sh*t about her words about him and she knows it, but she keeps insisting. I thought that probably she uses it (for some reason that I cannot think about) as a shield against me.

Anyway, guys. At that night, I start thinking: "Should I try this time for sure?". But, finally, I DID NOT.

What do you think, guys? Is it worth to try or leave the situation as it is (meaning stay just friend)?

I'll start by saying, no girl-friend ever invites a guy to sleep with her. So you can be sure, that even if you guys are "friends" she has thought of you as something more. She maybe using the Nick thing to see what will you do, so go ahead and try. Real friendships are not destroyed by things like that. So don't be afraid of losing her as a friend. With that said, what's the worst that could happen? Go on, game her, don't approach her as a friend, keep your cool, and next time you are with her at her appartment, escalate her, and do your thing. Good Luck, and hope this helps.

Like I said before, because she lives a little bit far from me (about 90km) and consequently I've nowhere else to stay (in case if she says "get outta here, now!" - since the house is hers, I suppose I can't do nothing but just leave), again, this is my only "fear", let's say. :(

But you keep saying that I should game her, isn't it? About the "Nick" thing I was almost sure that she's testing me because the last time we were together, anytime she wanted to "break the ice", she would say "Wanna call Nick" two or three times in a row.

Ah! I would like to make another question. It maybe will sound a little bit "silly" but... anyway.
This happened one day before I leave her apartment (by the way, she works as a security guard from 7am to 7pm). I was lying in bed when she suddenly said: "Do you want me not go to work today?". At that time I was thinking: "Hey, is she crazy? Instead of thinking of her job, she wants to stay with me?". And, probably, I didn't give the right answer: "I really like you to stay here and I really would like your company, but you can't risk your job now."
Was it a test? If so, what was the point of this test? Probably I didn't passed it :(

I suppose it was a test. There's no way to be sure of it. But hey let me tell you this, if you see an opportunity to have/do something you want/like, why don't? Next time think about what you want. Its okay for you to worry, but maybe she just wanted to be an hour late ;).

Thank you for the advice. Hope it'll help me a lot!

Next time I'll meet her I'm gonna try it and post the results.

Again, thanks :)
