I am starting to think that maybe "The Game" (being American) doesn't quite translate across the pond. Undoubtedly the body language lessons are important and I am starting to experience success with creating interest with mostly body language (hence my name Anyone else from the UK experience anything similar? More importantly if you AR'NT then let me know! Much Love Body Language |

Any live day game approaches I have seen on the web are based in England for some reason. Also openers might be putting them off for lots of reasons. Maybe you are coming across creepy or nervous. |

'basically' All woman are the same anywhere. You just have to build rapport etc. etc.. I, as an European have lived in America for 8 months. MUCH easier to pick up. Why? Because I'm interesting. Find a way to achieve the same in the UK =] |

No. In England having bad teeth is the best way to pickup women. Total alpha, "I don't give a bullocks" attitude which made many an English woman swoon over Austin Powers. |

SmoothOp - I think you might be on to something here. The first few times I tried the opinion openers they went ok. I have been thinking a lot about there usefulness lately and there is a correlation there. I am nervous using them now because I constantly choke myself up with doubt. jwzz - Oh I am interesting but I still have not got my stories straight yet, that is now high priority, thanks for the reminder Thanks so far |

It's real interesting, a lot of people seem to doubt conventional gaming methods seen as American. Myself and two of my buddies also doubted this kind of cold approaching but recently I've been gaming with a new guy who does this and the results we've found are amazing. Guys find it a lot more creepy than girls. |

How stupid it might sound. For me it's rather easy to bring up something interesting. In america I'm European, and in Europe I'm a pilot. Works good. My opener? I just say Hi in the most retarded way ever. If they laugh or say Hi in such a way back, the ice is broken. What I used to use was start up with: I have a question for you.... How come I don't know you yet? Then a quick build up to kino, then ask 'what does it take for you to love me'.... But one thing is important. It's not what you say, it's how you say it. Energetic, take them on a ride. And don't chicken out on a kiss close... So many times I chickened out =( |

jwzz - Well being a pilot is defiantly something I am jealous of! Where I am women are always in at least a two-set so the one on one approach just wouldn't work! Or would it? Some of these questions may seem a bit retarded but if you got game then I want to learn, I don't want to limit myself. VoxPotentia- Where are you doing this? Day game, night clubs etc |

I think as a very, very, very, massive generalisation, the people in England are perhaps slightly "colder" - they are perhaps more suspicious of a stranger opening them totally out of the blue during day game. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's still do-able, and it's no harder over here than America a lot of the time, but I dare say that there in England there are more suspicious types who either blow a stranger out of the water straight away, or take a lot of hard work to open up a bit. But, in general, I definitely think it still works over here. It may just be that some of the stuff you're trying isn't really working for you. There are some parts of the game that I just simply can't pull off - so I don't bother. But just keep trying to find stuff that does work for you and it shouldn't be any harder here than in the States. |
