I started a facebook conversation with a girl that used to flirt with me like crazy, but I never capitalized on the oppertunity. I flirted with her back, but that was all. I asked her how college was without my lunchtable throwing bottle caps at her and without our favoriite teacher and she responded by laughing and saying she almost misses me

call her and forget about online game, she was not laughing she typed " hahahah" that is not the same. Call her and you might make her laugh, this time for real.

Thats the thing brah...I don't have her number yet or else I would call her up in a heartbeat. How do I transition that conversation into getting her number and hanging out with her?

By saying: hey, i wanna hang out with you on thursday/whatever-day-you-are-available.
there is no transition. You can transition till she gets married with a dude who actually just stated what he wants :).

Getting the number is a formality to make it happen.

At a sidenote: I like the comment of FCgame. He nailed a very good point.
