| Post subject: | Learning magic |
Hey fellas, I recently became interested in learning magic. Any one have any advice on where to start?? I kinda wanted to stay clear of card magic, because I feel like if at a club or party, it's kinda hard to spread out a deck of cards and complete the trick. I was thinking of tricks that are quick yet attract a lot of attention. Maybe some sort of illusions. Are there any books that are good for learning? Videos? Maybe a package that is sold online that comes with some tools necessary for learning with a book? Youtube? Thanks for the help |

I am wary of the magic trick thing.. I read about neil Strauss and Mystery and their bag of tricks and personally, I dont like it. Ok, so some girls may like it, but I would hate to turn into some circus monkey relying on tricks to engage girls.. I used to be a bartender many years ago and learnt a few neat tricks, so i think to be sitting by a bar... pull some objects from the bar i.e. glass, coins, matches, bevnaps etc.. and do some spare of the moment tricks is cool.. but to walk around with playing cards and other stuff is just a bit sad. Try to engage more based on personality than hat containing a rabbit. |
