| Post subject: | Her Bestfriend...Help!! |
So I'm wanting to date this girl. We're both sophomores in highschool. She is very good. Church girl. Insanely Nice. I started going to her church to see her more often, but one of her friends (A freshman that I have a class with) Also goes to that church and likes me now. She hasn't told me directly, but it's realllly obvious. I DO NOT want to date the freshman girl. But you see, we were going to go bowling, and apparently the girl I like invited her friend...because they are really good friends. Now I feel like I can't ask the girl I like out, because she will say No in pitty of her friend that likes me. What do I do?!?! |

Ask her anyway, you'll never know if you don't try. And you shouldn't be worried about what a girl is thinking. |

I think most of us have been there at one point or another. I have actually done as your suggesting now and asked the friend and had her say no out of pity for the other friend who was smitten on me. But since then I have found a much more effective way of dealing with this situation. What I do is I isolate the friend and then kiss her before she can think about what is happening and once I have kissed them, there is no going back, so if they like me enough then they normally just think 'Bad luck for her' and take the selfish route. Most girls wont admit it but they actually get a degree of satisfaction from taking a guy that their friend wanted. It's funny that, normally if you have 2 besties and one of them is keen on you, you can normally have your pick if you play your cards right. |

Your right. I have to try, and I'll try to isolate myself as much as possiable from the other. |

You don't want to isolate yourself, what you want to do is make is clear in front of them both that you like the other one. Even go so far as to tell the one you don't want " your friend is cute" when the one you want isn't around. If you go for isolate it will appear you are being sneaky because she already knows you like the other one. Just be a man go for the one you want, openly flirt, kino all that good shit out in the open, that is what women want after alll. A man that is not afraid to be a man. |

Okay. But the only time I could ever do that is at church. Where I think it would be very innapropriate. And if she did come with us bowling. Which...is a no. Maybe I should just tell the girl I like that her bf likes me and I dont like her back, and ask her if it would be okay if her, me, and someone besides her? Because I think she wants someone to come with her because she is shy and has only had like 1, maybe 2 boyfriends. |
