Post subject:  All noobies, read this!

Okay, I've asked a MILLION questions on this forum, and I almost always get my questions answered. First off, I want to thank everyone here for helping me. This isn't going to be a thought-provoking post, but this is the most I can do with my skillset to help the community.

I have recently finished a bit of Adam Lyon's stuff, but have also just jumped into Tyler Durdens, "Blueprint" *Not sure if taht's the title, i forget*

All I can say is. Wow.

A little about the book, it's a very straight forward book that explains rules of social interaction and several examples of them. If you're looking for a nice story to give you a feel-good feeling, move along.

What's so amazing about this book is that it ACTUALLY helped me identify my inner game problem (s).

In the book it mentions things about internal/external pillars, basically foundations of which we create our reality on. In a nutshell, I focused my reality on my interactions on how people responded to me.

So, there is this particular girl who I've been talking to, well up until recently. At first we had some great rapport going, especially because it was a new interaction, but it became stale because I ran out of things to say. but WHY did I run out of things to say? It's because I was looking for her APPROVAL on the things I was saying. Instead, had I completely freed my mind, I would be able to speak with her in an untarnished, pure form.

To further experiment * EVERYONE TRY THIS* I imagined speaking with the girl. Now at the beginning, I thought about me being beside her at work, and absolutely having nothing to say... I got out of my 'imagination' and told myself that I just need to be myself.

and boom, "we" started talking about tv shows, and I even got a few ways to break rapport about her favorite tv shows. This all happened in my 'mind' btw, lol.

This probably came out a bit crazy, I'm a bit buzzed right now, went drinking with a girl I met last week. Friend zoned her, before she did me :p. *that's another story(

I guess my main point is, BE YOURSELF. I've been having trouble with my inner game, the worst part is that I always thought it was my outer game, that I wasn't good enough, or didn't know enough routines... It was my inner game!

Anyways, if you guys have any questions, post them here! I'll look through this after work tomorrow to see how terrible this post is.

My advice is, check out this book. Seriously. I can't speak for everyone, but that particular chapter seriously presented my inner game and how I felt about it in a very literal sense.
