I've got a situation here. I've got this girl who I asked to be my girlfriend (not alpha behaviour, i know) and I know she likes me a lot and says she misses me. She invited me on a short vacation trip together. We've slept together before and had a good connection. Problem I'm finding is at the moment I'm in another city and sometimes she takes forever to respond to my texts (like 12hrs) or will not respond to my calls. Like today I called her up and she didn't asnwer so I expected her to txt me at least but nothing. I thought I'd just not contact her at all until she is the one that contacts me. What do you guys think I should do in this situation? I actually want to be with this girl so I might not be thinking straight. |

Did she actually accept your proposal to be your girlfriend? What was said in that regard? A friend of mine is in a similar situation and it's because he became way too clingy. I asked him how much texting they do, and you won't even believe how many texts are sent between the two of them. 400 on average. Every. Fucking. Day. I seriously don't know how he finds enough time to send that amount, but he showed me his phone and it's real. Now, I'm sure you aren't that extreme, but the point is, if you're always making yourself available to her she's going to get burned out. She will never have time to miss you. So yes, you are right in not contacting her at all. And when she contacts you, don't get too giddy and reply instantly. Wait a few hours, maybe even days. Don't reply to all her texts and phone calls. Show her that you are losing interest (even if it's a facade) and I can almost guarantee she'll come running back. |

I asked her to be my girlfirend and she asked "why?, you can have any girl you want". I told her "Although I have met many girls you are the one that intrigues me". She said she wants to give the relationship a try and she wants to take chances with me, so yeah she accepted my invitation. She also said she's not looking for short-term, me niether, kind of, depending if she's the right one. We don't contact each other that often but I see how I could've become a bit clingy when we were together so hopefully me not contacting her will show her that if she keeps on doing what she is doing I will loose interest in her, and that's probably true. As a girlfriend I expect a reply more often than just from a girl. |
