Post subject:  What is the moderators job?
Ive had some run ins with mods, but I just want to clear this up before I look for another site to help afcs like yourself out.

Now, Im easy to get along with, I understand i can be a starter of "spin"

But it's really no different than when I talk to people in the real world, Im a contrarian by nature and I enjoy friendly or even not so friendly banter.

And I dont mind some of the mods, but is it required duty to jump into all threads and correct people, when this shit is far from an exact science anyway?

My impression of what mods do is take make sure nobody abuses other members, or nobody trolls.

Now, I dont know what university the mods attend to become one, but in the world of game, u are just players like the rest of us.

Ive refrained myself from firing off too much, but these mods do nothing but harrass, The first week I got messages from 4 different mods saying they might ban me, then they said they didn't want to ban me cause i wasn't an ordinary troll.

a mod makes sure there is peace on the board, its not his job to highlight bits and pieces of what everybody says and then talk like an authority.

If that's what a mod is here, fine, ill find another board, but why dont u start a thread of what a mod does.

You answered that yourself. I think you failed to tell the difference of a mod given their input or more opinion on a topic in a thread and them being a mod. As while they are mods that doesn't mean they can't post their own opinion on something.

A mods job is to keep the board enjoyable for all. That is not really an easy job, also persons like you and me. Mods, not gods. That is in their defense.
In your defense, at soem points you made, i completely agree. At one time you said you where sick with the fairy tales and you want more realism. although on the topic i didnt agree with you (dont remember the topic anymore), i do agree with this. We need criticism. We need you, ofcourse not only for the criticism. Hell, i could even say, i need you!

I would feel it as a loss if you left the board.

Yes the more opinions the better, but the problem is if for example, I state the truth(accoording to myself, understood), then they say no, that is not how it is, it;s this way. I then come back with no, I dont agree with that,...now suddenly im a trouble maker, but they werent a trouble maker telling me their biew was correct.

And people feel when it's a mod then they have to cave sooner than when it;s somebody not a mod.

I understand mods have a tough time, but they must enjoy it, who the hell would do it if they didnt enjoy it?

I have no problem with disconnects, in fact thats a good way to talk to women, dont agree with everything they say, give them your view and dont cave, and they will respect u more.

I think the general consensus round here is EVERYBODY must be made to believe that in this superficial, me first, world we live in that EVERYBODY can get beautiful women. it's simply not realistic and not true. That doesnt mean we give up hope, and THAT is what the board is about, support.

But whatever one's view they should be allowed to say it. If the mod wants to pm the target of the message and say "dont listen to him, he;s an idiot" as I have wanted to do before, thats fine and understandable.

But dont cut them off from speaking their mind. as long as they dont personally attack the person.

I don't think you have the right to insult anyone. You are annoyance that writes 40 posts a day without adding anything helpful to anyone (I have recently came across a few legit responses from you). You state you are 40 years old? Do you not have better things to do with your time then argue with 20 year old kids? You seem to be extremely immature, and in need of constant attention. These are two traits most likely keeping you are single! I would like to add that if you would like to leave, you are welcome too. Or you can actually help people since some topics you have gave good advice on.

Yes, every time somebody highlights somebody elses text and corrects their opinion, which is what it is an opinion, that is beyond rediculous. Nobody here knows any more than anybody else.

Yeah "ask mack" section, thats all about attention, the guy who claims to have slept with 800 is attention, the whole concept of wearing a peacock item is about getting attention.
