I'm considering going speeddating, what do you guys think? Is it a good opportunity to get a girl?

Yes if you're not an eager beaver trying to validate yourself to the girl.
Speeddating gives you an excellent opportunity to be the prize. Pokerface on, be scarce on the information about yourself and let her initiate and maintain conversation. Speeddating is where pua knowledge should really give you the upperhand to other guys in the room who will all be trying to impress the girl.

I prefer the idea of speeddating because I like the way the woman would be forced to sit and listen to me for 3/4 minutes. I hate the idea of approaching a girl in real life because I would feel pushy and as if I'm imposing on them, but at least with speed dating I'm actually supposed to be there, whether they like it or not.

However, I'm concerned that I'm basically directly compared to all the other guys there, and it's basically just a meat market, right? I mean no-one really cares what is said, it's just based on looks. But surely you don't need 3 minutes to tell whether you fancy someone or not. :S

1. Are you blind or stupid? Read my comment above. You should be the one shutting the fuck up. She couldn't care any less what you have to say. Make two or three witty remarks and be a little disinterested. Create some fucking interest ffs. Girls only like themselves like you only like yourself. Your odds are far greater being a disinterested cock than the eager beaver you are inevitably going to be.

3. No one ever truly gives a fuck about somebody else. When both in fire you'll save yourself and not the other.

And I really can't believe you actually say "the woman would be forced to listen to me". Dude seriously wtf? Are you completely mad? Which selfrespecting man would say something like that. What you're saying is you are boring beyond measurement and that it's the only time you'll get a woman to listen to your whining for three fucking minutes. A period of time in which you will convince her why she should pick you, a total keeper. It does not work that way. It just doesn't.

Create interest? :S How do you do that? I would have thought you'd just ask what she does for a living and what hobbies she has?

That's a very big & scary 'if'! My only gameplan is to just sit there, let her decide whether I'm good enough for her, and silently hope & pray that she'll deem me good enough, at least for a bit of kissing, if not sex!

So you mean even if she doesn't grin with lust as soon as she looks at me, there's still a chance? :S I know as soon as I glance at a girl whether I want to have sex with her. It's usually yes, unless she's very fat or very ugly. I'm not fat and I'm not very ugly, so I can't see why no girls go near me. I thought they were horny too? :S

Well, I'd like to think I'm not boring, but since girls always ignore & overlook me, what other conclusion can I come to? I'm only being logical, based on my own experience of how girls respond to my evidently subhuman face, body & social skills. :S

I'm not sure I'd be a keeper, but I'd hope I'd be good enough for at least some kissing or something. You'd think statistically I could potentially find a decent-looking girl somewhere who deems me to be good enough for her, but sadly not yet evidently. :S

Look dude, I've read about ten topics of yours in which you say the same over and over.
If you want to improve take your time for a start. Read some material and apply. Fieldtest what is written down. Work on your body language.

Read and fieldtest,
reread and fieldtest again.
Analyse what you've read for the second time, look at some pick-up in action (keys to the vip for example) and fieldtest.
Try to find out yourself why certain things work and apply them yourself.

There is no magic key to fix things and speeddating is no quick fix either. I've seen a documentary in which they compare the likes boys give to girls and the other way round. Results: about every girl is approved by the boys, approx none of the boys are approved by the girls. Point being: if you just go out there and force the girl to listen and possibly ask her some generic questions about herself you're going to be bombed. Badly.
