I was thinking about asking a girl out. But then I got scared. What if I gave 1000 dollars to a friend and he didn't give it back unless I got rejected 20 times? Thoughts? Or something similar? |

Yes, that's perfect. Motivate yourself in any way possible. The best PUAs I know are good not because of how little they get rejected - but because of how little it affects them. They might get blown out 20 times on a single night but on their 21st approach, they come in with the same high-energy and positive attitude as their first or second approach. |

Wow $1000, I would do it for $10...I heard it before on some forum use $20 sarge with a buddy and for every approach you chicken out of you have to give him $20...Money is a great motivator and makes the statement you have nothing to loose if you try, true. |

Or something similar? You'd think this is the right thing to do, but I'd actually do the opposite. Try giving your friend X amount of your money and tell him not to give it back unless you get 20 numbers; if you do it the way you think - you will be working to get rejected, and this will defeat anything you've learned. With the numbers way your working to get numbers and money; and what's better than that?

The point of the exercise is to make approaches, it's not based on rejections or closes... If your just trying to get over the initial AA, he just needs to go up to a girl he thinks is hot and give a compliment and then eject. Once he's gained a little confidence he can make it more challenging by going for number closes. |
