Post subject:  Reunited with old crush...still nervous around her?

Heres the deal, I have liked this girl for the past few years. I still talk and date other woman and try to put myself at higher value but I still get really nervous around her. I forget to make eye contact and talk a lot/say stupid things. Definitely not calm and collected.

Anyways, I took her out on a date about five-six months ago and got nervous so didnt k-close. Took her out again to lunch(her idea) and tried to k-close after but failed. She seemed awkward after, I'm sure I was too. She basically wanted to hang out again "without pressure."

So I froze her out for 5 months. She texted me and I never texted back except for once with a really short message. Finally I texted her last night and she responded this morning saying she thought i dissapeared and kept asking questions about break, semester, ect. I stopped that by saying I was busy and would call later.

Then I ran into her at school a mere hour later!! The odds of that are crazy. She hugged me and we talked for ten min or so. Decent convo but still nervous even after not seeing her for so long and talking to new girls in that time.

What can I do to stop being nervous around her? I can tell she is at least somewhat interested but I know I need stronger eye contact. I want to ask her out but don't know where to take her or how to avoid being so nervous.

Any advice?

Hey there!
That happens to a lot of guys, specially after a long time relationship. The fact that you feel like this means she meant a lot to you.
Just try to reevaluate yourself, nobody here can tell her where is that coming from. You are the only one who can find the solution.
Maybe you still have feelings for her but like I said you are the only one who can answer that question.

Take care.
