I feel like crap:S Here's the whole story in quick bullet points up 'til the present day: (P.S. HB is 18 in yr 12, and im 19) - Went clubbing with 2 girls about 2 weeks ago, one is super attractive and hooks up with some guy from her school at the club - I contact her on FB telling her i think shes cute, dont care if she likes someone else and that Im better - she proceedes to text me her number, and we continue to flirt via text pretty heavily for 1 week - 1 week later me +my friend, and the 2 girls meet up again just to hang out, me and the girl have a great time, i taught her how to play pool (lots of kino/laughter), the majority of the time her sitting next to me, she is playfully bumping in to me, touching my thigh and putting her head on my arm when she laughs - even the friend told me to hook in because of the amount of attraction was in the air When I went for the Kiss close that night, it wasn't optimal because they were getting picked up early (spontaneously) so I kinda forced it in the car park (and me having a little bit to drink, tried to kiss her infront of her friends mum) - although I was really cute about it but still. That night she texted me that she thought I was cute and liked my confidence etc. I sent her a text 2 days ago saying: "I like talking to you, and I don't play games. I think we're good together. Lets try and catch up sometime if not thats cool im glad we met. She replies with: "Why do you think we're good together!" few days later we're still flirting and texting things such as: me: "Watever you know you want me her: "Haha yea a big piece at that!" me: "Well you can start with my arms, looks like you've grown a liking to them her: Woo! Or chest, tummy I don't mind So super flirty. Now last night she messages me on facebook that she's really a nerd at school, shes starting summer school and has year 12, its important and she has no time to dedicate to a guy/relationship. Is this a line just to get rid of me? Or is she looking for flings or just to have 'fun?" This is the first time I've ever felt even SLIGHTLY upset for being ditched by a girl because shes uber hot and has a great bubbly personality. This whole time I thought she was so easy, and "i got this is in the bag" so towards the end of the time I was speaking to her, I kind of dropped my game off a lot. At the beginning, I was ignoring her quite a bit, very cocky/acting like I had better shit to do. Towards the end, I was very straight forward (because in my head there was no doubt she wanted me) - this is the only thing I can see where I went wrong ... otherwise id love to ask the more experienced PuAs... What the hell did I do wrong here? Has this happened to you before? Is this situation salvageable in any way? or should I move on? Thanks in advance guys |

Listen kid, whenever you're in doubt, and she hasn't told you to "FUCK OFF" or thinks you're a creepo, take it as a shit test and act unphased. The key here is to not lose your shit/act rattled at this. What it probably means is that you've yet to build enough attraction with her to make the sale; in other words, the jury is still out on if she wants to be with you. Don't drop your game, particularly if you haven't slept with her a few times first to solidify things. Even still, be on your toes but at that point allow her to see some vulnerability too. |

The most interesting thing here is that you are surprised that she responded in that way. I know that many PUAs tell you to be ballsy and cocky and funny or whatever. But if you dont have the attitude or inner game to pull it off you should just focus on getting that. Thing is that if you play the cocky funny game, you are gambling. Either they buy it and all is well or they call your bluff and eat you alive. That is, unless you are strong enough to actually be cocky, and theen it is not a bluff anymore. Dont dish it out if you arent ready to take the comeback. |

Thanks for the replies. I ended up messaging this to her: "haha of course im not giving up that easily, a lot of times smart/strong girls such as yourself need a little bit of encouragement to realise that their life will be that much more exciting with me in it ;D whether that's seeing me 5 days a week or once a month ... between djing/pt'ing there is no time for a relationship sadly! but there's no harm in a little bit of fun once in a while! Speak soon x" ( i am a personal trainer and a DJ and she knows this ) Just trying to play it off as i have some experience in this department, and thats its no biggie! Thoughts? |

Ever heard of K.I.S.S ... Keep It Simple Stupid ?I ended up messaging this to her: "haha of course im not giving up that easily, a lot of times smart/strong girls such as yourself need a little bit of encouragement to realise that their life will be that much more exciting with me in it ;D whether that's seeing me 5 days a week or once a month ... between djing/pt'ing there is no time for a relationship sadly! but there's no harm in a little bit of fun once in a while! And your taking the whole cocky thing way out of context... It looks fake as hell with that message. My response would of been " Are you drunk?" |
