I go out to best buy and Barnes and noble everyday for 2 hours trying to get the courage to approach girls. It takes me on average an hour for every approach. The stores are on the same block and that's the only place with a lot of people besides the mall. It sucks because I'm starting to get recognized by the employees just because I walk in and out of the place at least 3 times a day without buying anything. I go out alone and it's really hard to improve when you aren't having fun and people may think you are being a creep. Is this something everyone goes through before they get good or just me? |

Well I have gone out alone and it isnt creepy but awkward at times, I hate being alone but you got to be comfortable with who you are. I go to starbucks everyday just to have small talk and such occasionally I will buy something normally just get a water, they have even asked whats up I say I have a 15 min between class and rather enjoy the walk. Then talk to people. As for the AA start off slow, ask for directions to places, or if thats to much smile and say hi, then walk away. Work up from nothing and make sure you are having fun with it or you wont want to continue. Try and go with a friend. |

Hey man. I don't really like daygame and don't do it anymore, but I know what you're talking about. It's hard to get out of your head all of a sudden and start being funny and shit. What I used to do to help me get into a state and is talk to everyone in the street that I can. First start with something small, a direction for a bank, a book store, then buying gums and asking the sales woman how is she doing, then see and mother and a baby and telling her baby is cute, then see a girl with a dog and talk to her for a bit about a dog... then i would walk pass a girl and say hi to her just in my head first, and by the 5 girl i would say it out loud. and then i get into a state and i can do whatever i want... |

So go to other places. You're an adult, I assume, you are able to legally travel to places more than a couple miles away. Next time you're out, just drive around until you see a place with a full parking lot, and walk in. |

LOl yah to be honest I do the same thing i go to the mall and hit on the clerks and salepeople and people in the mall and it is getting a little repetitiive and i do kinda feel weird walking into the store and never buy anything and yes they are noticing but what i found out which makes it a lot funner is, hold for effect just making friends with the people who work there so they dont care when you come in. So when you come in there face lights up and it gives you a confidence boost and you know this is my store. Now you dont have to become friends with everyone maybe just the guys so that all the girls are open game and it gives you a high social status and you can joke around with the guys with inside jokes about the girls. Also if the girls have boyfriends just koke around with them and seed them they will remember you and will be happy to see yopu next time. Plus dont feel weird youre not the only one going through this its cool man and i wish you the best of luck. |
