What does it mean if a girl only sometimes laughs at your structured jokes, but generally giggles (sometimes uncontrollably) throughout your conversation? So she won't laugh much when she's supposed to, but she giggles a lot if I just make random comments/observations or rib at her? It's almost as if she keeps giggling but tries not to laugh at actual jokes, I don't understand that :S Also if she plays with her hair a lot should you ask something like "Why do you keep playing with your hair? You afraid it's going to fall out?" |

Yep, giggle is an output due to positive emotions. They are due to your appearance. |

I see, thanks for that. But why would she not laugh much at my actual jokes, despite giggling a fair bit the rest of the time? She even laughed straight after unconvincingly saying "That's not funny" once. Usually if I tease her about something she says or some other random observation, she automatically starts giggling. I hope it's not that she's just a giggly person in general. How reliable an IOI is hair-twirling? Also, if she teases me a bit is she flirting or trying to bully/belittle me? |

because, as stated above, she is either: - immature (socially awkward, bad timing, too young to get it, nervous to laugh at jokes) and/or - into you (giggling to relieve tension) not sure what further analysis beyond the obvious can be offered... maybe lay off the chris rock and george lopez impersonation and give the comedy a rest and see how she acts. maybe you aren't as funny as you think you are, but you keep cracking jokes, and she is giggling/laughing out of awkwardness. idk |
