Post subject:  Advanced question: Losing my state next to pros.
Hi guys,

Some of you have seen RSD blueprint right? Tyler talks about 'the stronger reality wins'. Last half year I am going out with real pros (for example, Royce). Although I learn A LOT from them, I often lose my state (and the set) since I get nervous when I see the 'shockwave' they produce...and I think damn....that sucks.

First of all, it is not that I cannot produce such a shockwave, but next to them it somehow gets more difficult.

So I need some advice on this. How to fix/improve this?

Some people told me I should look up 'state control' in NLP but I have no clue what they mean by that, so if someone can help me out with this, would be great.

Change the way you think about it... The post you made isn't true, you made it true by accepting those thoughts. It has nothing to do with them, they can't control you or your state. YOU control YOU.

Don't try to compete. Instead, make it your objective to learn from them. Don't be full of shit thinking your good thinking your good or better. Instead just accept you can't compete, and your purely just learning.

When I had 0 game, I would hang out with guys way better then me which would shut me down. Instead of competing with them, I starting learning from them and just having fun hanging out with them sarging. Improve my game, and when I would be out, I would just have so much fun.

State just gets fucked up when your competing and loosing. Even today, when I go out, I don't compete with other guys. Instead, I just have fun and don't care what happens. Funny thing is, I have girls approaching me now.

Hmm those answers already crossed my mind.

What I am doing lately, is to look for what makes me special, for instance I have a huge smile on my face. This attracts the right type of girl. So in this way, it is not a competition, because I still have my 'fish' and fun. This helps a lot already.

However, I am also looking for more -overall- attractiveness. That is why I am looking at videos from the 'inside the actors studio', to be more unreactive.

It would be great if someone could explain me more about 'state control'.

RSD - Blueprint is a good DVD to check out.

What I can remember, if your not in state or not getting there, don't fight it and just accept it. Try not to even think about it. Instead, go out have fun and approach, and state will come. I find this to be very true also.

State control for me comes down to the Power of Now. The ability to focus on the present keeps you out of your head, trying to figure out the next thing to do, when the only thing you have to do is be you.

But more importantly for your situation, since these alpha, social guys are on YOUR side, know that it's an advantage! If it's you three, three girls, then two other guys, think about who's going to be getting the girls! You're associated with status, so just bask in it, it can't do you wrong.
