| Post subject: | Confusion about gainig rapport and maintaing dominant frame |
NLP literature encourages one to gain rapport through synchronicity of body language upon meeting a girl. However, wouldn't I lose my dominant frame if i start supplicating and seeking to gain rapport with a girl? Hence, my question is how do you gain rapport with a girl while maintaining the dominant frame? |

Not if you break rapport as well, look up Adam Lyons Breaking Rapport. It should make more sense after reading that. |

I can't say that I know about the theory, especially not NLP. But mirroring a girl physically is helpful, being friendly to her is helpful. Present a positive, uplifting, interesting side of your self. I don't see how that hurts a dominant frame at all. In fact, it's much more often guys who threaten any "alpha" position I have, and they can be dealt with.

When you get good what you'll realize is, 2 mins of rapport building is all you need to seal the deal. |

so when approaching a girl do you maintain a dominant frame (a more closed body language) and slowly open up as you bring her into your reality or do you off the bat try to gain rapport with her (open body language, smiles and express openness) |

I am really getting into a dominant framework, so this is how I approach most women. If your used to being open and emotional with women then you start with that frame.If you have to force yourself to be dominant, and are self conscious go with the other frame. If you have to force yourself to be open, and emotional then go with a dominance frame. |
