I will spare you all the details and keep this short. A girl I'm interested in is currently getting over some other guy. They didn't date for very long but it ended poorly enough to where she is very upset over this. She even threw up the other night because she was so freaked out over it. Yes, I know that's dramatic. They have a 0% chance of ever salvaging anything since he moved across the country. We have been friends for a few months now but have flirted and I have initiated enough kino to where she realizes I have an interest in her. She has reciprocated these feelings all the way up until now, at which point she's just cold as fuck and is trying to distance herself from me. The question is, do I just stop calling/texting her and break all contact until she gets over him and comes around? Or should I offer some passive, light support for her problem? |

why spend so much time and effort on something with only a possible return? go out and meet more women. if by chance you talk to her in the future, see if shes free, if she is its game on. |

There's "only a possible return" on any girl. Why not pursue the one I want instead of taking an equal risk on someone I don't know? |

What was she so freaked about? I mean if she's going to that extent then she's not over him and probably won't be for quite a while regardless of his current location. I say forget about her for a while and let her sort her own shit out, you're just a rebound at the moment if you continue to stick around. You'll just be wasting your time waiting around her to potentially get over things (who knows how long or if she even will) while you could be focusing on yourself or other things.
