Alrighty, never had a big problem talking to women. I'm not the kind of guy that NEED'S pick up artistry, but damn is it fun, and effective.
So, here's my first approach within the structure of The Game:
Walking around target for no particular reason other than to get a first solid approach under my belt.
I see an employee working the shoe department, just straightening up and whatnot.
HB7, probably more like an 8 if she were dressed up and not reppin the target uniform.
Me-"Excuse me, do you think you could help me with something?"
Figured an opinion opener would be easy to start with. Locked in eye contact, smiled, like a boss. She reciprocated, didnt read to much into it, as she was possibly just doing her job and being nice.
Her-"Of course"
Me-"Well my bestfriend has a two year old daughter, and i was wondering, what would be something badass to get her for christmas?"
Lame, I know, but it got my foot in the door.
Her-"I dunno, looking for something specific blahblah"
Me-"Not really, I'm relying on your matriarchal knowledge at this point"
Small talk blah blah. transition time
We walked to a nearby aisle to look for an idea, she recomended some baby sized converse shoes that she thought were cute. I told her that his dad wore them so she said I should get some so they match.
Me-"Solid lip ring youre wearing, management lets you wear that?"
Her-"*insert womanly reply*"
Me-"Normally I cant stand lip rings but I suppose you pull it off alright"
She laughed at my backhanded compliment.
Her-"Yeah its kickass, you should get one"
Me-"I've thought about it, I've been told I have sexy lips so maybe I could make it work"
Her-"Oh definitely, I wont deny it, you should get one"
another minute of fluff talk, and I called it a success.
No close, but I was happy to showcase my skills to myself. I think I did alright. Her name was mercedes and she was cool as fuck.
Can't wait to get out there for another crack at some game.
I guess I'm just really pumped after my first REAL approach so I wanted to share, no matter how lackluster it is.
