Hey guys. Basically I'm going out to a club this Thursday and it's only my second time clubbing and I was wondering how I would "own" my look or stop worrying that I might not perform better without my glasses? I wear rectangular glasses, 5"7, skinny/semi-athletic, South-East Asian, first-year university student, my style is along the preppy/casual/clean look. Edit: I cannot afford contact lenses at the moment. |

Stop focusing on yourself. When you walk into the club observe, have a look around, spot the hot girls, go to the bar, suss the dynamics at the bar, is the chick behind the bar hot, is she having a good time, who else is at the bar, is there any hot girls, wonder what that person is drinking... See where I'm going with this? |

Thanks for the response guys. I'm guessing if the girl doesn't like me because of my glasses, move on? My solution is be the fun/easygoing guy in the club. I've been reading Conquer your Campus and watching some videos of Adam Lyons & Alex Coulson so that I have something that I can apply with my personality and approaches. |

girls don't like you because you don;t like yourself you don't like yourself because you think other people don't like you you don't like you because you care too much about what others think of you stop being self concious.. drop the glasses .. put on a cool shirt.. put some hair styling agent in your hair and go ... |

Thanks Lodewijkp, I'll take that advice. Thing is, I don't have much difficulty with Asian women it's that of other ethnicity. And as much I would love to drop the glasses or even ship them back to the manufacturer I cannot see well without them  (unless I save up for some contacts).

When I'm talking to a girl I'm 100% focused on gaming her, If you came up to me while I was talking to a girl and asked me what color my hair is I couldn't tell you.I have glasses, I wear the same jacket almost everyday, my hair is as normal and flat as can be; but I never notice so the girls don't. Glasses can be used very well; you can talk about them to draw her attention to your face, you can talk about how 'different' you look with them off and have her spend some time giving you kino to try to take them off of you. Contacts arn't special, they're normal and how many girls want a 'normal' guy? |

Thanks, charblad. Alright, I see what you mean especially with the "normal" guy statement. Could you give me an basic example of what to say about the glasses? |

im not saying he needs to look like the prince of whales .. im just saying he should do and wear what he likes... aside from that he should care less about other people and just go out... i've seen many anti-social guys get into pickup and all became social .. do not worry .. you can easily do it |
