Post subject:  When a girl DHVs by LVing you
this never happened to me before and I wasn't prepared for it
I was walking with a friend then this girl who knew him said "Hi[my friend]'s friend" and I just said hi back. Kinda awkward.

this other time I was getting lost in my thoughts in the middle of class kinda in zombie-mode because I stayed up all night and then this chick by me was like "why are you so quiet today" and I'm never sure how to respond. It feels like they're trying to find flaws in me to make themselves look better- in the sense of a shit-test, like they're trying to game me.

How do you respond to these scenarios?

They're trying to shit-test you?! Hell no. To me it seems like they're actually very interested in you!!

Next time something like that happens, simply respond back in a positive way, and escalate QUICK. They're initiating the interaction, so they're clearly interested (remember, women who are not interested won't waste their time...).

Do not overthink these scenarios. Assume it's always ON. :)

You are reading too much into it - its all in your head. Non of the above mean anything. You are just being too sensitive and may be irritable to what they are saying. Just play along.

Her: "Hi (my friend)'s friend"
You: Wasup !

Her:: "Why are you so quite today"
You:: (Movie Actress' Name) kept calling me all night long - didn't let me sleep. Or, My cat needs braces - I'm thinking where to get them from. Or, my dog needs reading glasses, thinking if Walgreen has those. Or, thinking about the date with (Movie Actress' name) last night - she was very talkative.

Just answer any way that you want.

what the hell? I don't have a cat or dog, the movie actress line doesn't make any sense. I usually say I'm tired or something(which I am) but it gets old after a while. I can't think of anything that's funny and could help escalate.

This happened to me a long time ago. I was friends with this douche and two girls walked by (I knew one of them and she hugged me):

Other girl: You're cute
Me: (thought she was talking to me) thanks
Douche: Wait, who were you talking to me or him[me].
Other girl: You.
Me: Oh fuck you, skank.

She totally dissed me in front of everyone. Needless to say, it was an awkward conversation. I can't figure out how to handle insults. I can neg girls, but I can't take negs myself.
