I'd completely ignore it, my ex started calling me mate, kid, kiddo, etc. I just told her that we weren't mates straight away, and that If we were to have a relationship it would have to involve sex again, because I couldn't stand talking to her without hitting on her, she didn't every call me those things again, because I was direct and sorted shit out at an early stage. |

Could be either way really, you should know by the rest of your relationship and interactions with her. Shes probably trying to be endearing but personally I think that would annoy the hell out of me |
