Yesterday I went to the cinema with a girl. The night went really well, we had a good talk before and afterwards. Unfortunately again I was too shy with kino (my big sticking point!). When we were outside I hugged her and tried to kiss her on her mouth but she turned her cheek to me, so I kissed her there. I guess she didn't expect me to go for a kiss at all because of the lack of kino. Still, when we said goodbye she was very friendly.
Also, on the way out before I tried to kiss her she said something like "oh, you should know I'm physically not in a good state today". Does anyone know what she tried to tell me? And how shall I move on the next time I meet her? Go for a kiss again?

Build up to it with proper kino next time and let us know how it goes

Your lack of kino then surprise kiss made it too much of a big thing. If she comes out with you again then it just means it was a little too soon and she wasn't ready yet. If you was doing some kino beforehand you would have been able to calibrate and see if she was returning your kino. If you put her arm in yours so you are both arm in arm while you're walking and she holds your arm tight or cuddles into you this is a good sign. If she is a bit loose or tense about it then she isn't ready and you need to do a pull away. I recon the coment at the end was her trying to tell you she didn't want anything to happen YET.

I guess you guys are right. She wasn't ready YET. The point is after the failed kiss there was no awkwardness at all. So, I suppose I just need to increase the kino and try it again when I feel the situation is right...

I like what the others are saying. When you go in for a kiss it should be such an insignificant thing, as you've been touching her and being close to her like you've already being kissing.

Dude remember when you kiss her to be the first to pull away. The push pull technique doesn't end as soon as you get what you want.
