Post subject:  Get someone's attention!

So I have this psychology project in school. I, and a few others, are going to do a research on how pre-information decides how people think about a certain object. I'm going to show pictures of something that's considered positive and then show something that can be either positive or negative. And also do the opposite by showing something negative and then something that can be either (but not on the same person).. Anyways.... :?

This is basically going to be done where there is alot of people. From what I've seen (and do myself) people usually just walk past you :x if you ask them if they will answer a few questions. What do you guys think is the best way to get someones attention and actually stay to answer a few questions? It's sort of like getting a girls attention only this isn't done in a night club.

Your uni has a cafeteria? If they're sitting down it's much easier cos they won't (can't) walk away and it'd be kind of rude to refuse to answer some simple questions.

If you do it with people that are walking past going somewhere, it's going to be harder if you do it in a situation where everyone is stationary. Even if it's before or after a lecture.
