In the one pua book I got, it seemed more like a selling tool designed to make me buy more books rather than a genuine product meant to keep me satisfied. From a business perspective I get it, if you give me a book that tells all then I only buy one book and that's all the money they'll get. But if they tell me just enough to make the reader feel as if some improvement has happened [if it does or doesn't] they can get that person to be convinced that spending more money will result in more improvement. Then get to a point where he'll constantly be reliant on them and never independent. There's also the DD newsletters I get which always start off with him bragging about some new trick that'll get you more women. Then he says a few misconceptions guys have like thinking that being nice gets you laid. Then he says that it doesn't work and say why, and he'll say he knows what does. After saying he knows what works he'll give a link to a site that asks for a credit card number or money order to get this info. That's when I'm annoyed I read through all that hot air to find out he just wants my money. Last time I spent money on this it didn't help out. So, where can this stuff be found without me paying for it first off. I'm not sold on it at this point. A group of apparently socially superior guys are selling material saying they're skilled at getting what they want. If they're so socially skilled what's to say they're not trying to use that to trick people out of money? Questions. So I'm online in a chat room. I know a few girls who've hooked up in this room. I learn that sending pms apparently pisses people off if you haven't been talking to them enough. If you say hello to any girl in the room they assume you're trying to sleep with them and not just talk and they'll flip the fuck out. So, what do you do in that situation? There's the school. I don't go to school there, I just go and hang out in the lounge with a few guys I met there and play games. While there I'm not sure what to say to the girls who're coming through so I don't talk to them unless they talk to me first. More of a reflex than shyness. I used to talk to girls a lot till I noticed they always gave me the cold shoulder when I said hello or just tried friendly conversation. What do you say when you want to start a conversation with a girl [please give examples of something you actually say. Those can be broken down and converted into other things to be said]. The bar. At the bar I see guys picking up girls on occasion and hear girls talking about guys they met there. Personally I just order a drink and drink to myself and don't bother talking to the girls anymore. I was told I was creepy and got kicked out of a bar before. At said bar I introduced myself to a few girls and talked, if they seemed uninterested I went somewhere else and left them alone. Later the bartender tells me he's had complaints about me being creeper and told me to leave. What is creepy? What's a good way to approach girls in a bar? |

Well, how come you come accross creepy? Do you have any idea? Some ideas: do you hold eye contact too long, walk up to them from behind, do you stare at their breasts? Do you hang your arm around their shoulders? Note that none of this is verbal. What do you send to the girls that flip out? |

Take a chance and buy some material. Love Systems, MM, and DD who I believe David DeAngelo is who your speaking of are all excellent. You obviously have no game so anything would help you dramatically, as well as this forum, and its free. |

Quote: 1. What is creepy?
1. It means she's not attracted. It's possible that from time to time you might be percieved as a real creeper (getting physical in inappropriate ways) but that happens rather rarely.2. What's a good way to approach girls in a bar? 2. Coming from a side angle, say "Hi" and reach out your hand will do for a good start. |
