Post subject:  I am Pro-Slut, who's with me?!
I never really liked that word, "slut." As a teenager it got tossed around at a point where I had no idea what it truly meant, and as I've grown older, that meaning has become even more blurred. What kills me is that the definition seems to change depending on who is saying it and to whom it is being said.

Here are the variations I have come up with...

1. Guy calls girl a slut: usually this happens when a girl shot him down, and he finds out she slept with other guys. Even if it's just one other dude, he calls her a slut because she is willing to hook up (just not with him).
2. Girl calls guy a slut: she got played. He lied and claimed he loved her, then bailed on her.
3. Guy calls guy a slut: this...well this one is rare. It usually comes up as a joke when a dude is talking abotu something particularly kinky/crazy he did with a chick.
4. Girl calls girl a slut: the "slut" in question is getting a lot of male attention that the girl using that word likes to see. It's especially true if some of that male attention is that of a guy the user is interested in.

Then there's the broader use: a person is a slut because they suffer from some sort of psychological issue which they use sex to escape from. A girl has daddy issues so she sleeps around for male validation. A man hates women because his first gf cheated on him, so his promiscuity is a way of getting back at the gender that betrayed him. Other bs falls into this category.

Far as I can tell, though, the basic definition of a "slut" is someone who is willing to have sex solely for physical pleasure outside the boundaries of a committed, traditional relationship. That's the common thread between all these scenarios, at least.

So I have stopped using the word as an insult, because it shouldn't be. The motivation for using the word slut in such a way is always petty, in my opinion. That's why it especially bothers me to see that word get tossed around in the chatroom and on the forum. Here we are, many of us discussing ways to hook up with women, score threesomes, get SNLs, and have multiple fuck buddies, yet it seems like many men here are quick to pass negative judgements on the women they see openly seek sex. That double standard is vicious, and the more women feel like it is wrong to hvae sex outside the constraints of marriage, the tougher it is gonna be on us all.

I am Pro-Slut. I think that as long as you aren't harming others, you should be within your rights to do whatever you want with yourself. If a girl wants to fuck one dude tonight and another tomorrow, so be it, good for her. As long as she isn't telling either guy they are exclusive, nothing truly wrong, in my eyes, is being done.

Is it just me, or is that a good stance for an aspiring PUA to have? If you're not getting laid, why bother looking down on those who have sex when that is what you seek for yourself?

to me, a slut is a female that picks having sex over having any sort of self-respect, or honesty, or loyalty.

a "slut" sleeps with dirty, stinky hood guys.

a "slut" sleeps with other guys while she has a boyfriend.

a "slut" would miss her own funeral to suck one last dick.

well, i'm ok with that last one, i suppose.

This could just be a whore? not in the sex for money whore/prostitute but the whore that sleeps around with anyone and anywhere just because she wants sex.

I believe that a whore is a more intense version of a slut.

Good definition about sluts DJ and I am also pro-slut. I do not have a double standard but a standard against girls who do not have good self-respect. those are the girls who are sluts or whores.

The fantasy of purity is what lead to the invention of the term "slut" and the like. Well what the fuck is purity? You might ask. The fantasy of purity is love. She only fucks ME so she loves ME. This is more of an issue that MEN created. We are very repulsed if we walked in on our girl with a load of cum on her face or if she was fucking. It just fucks up our whole "mental fantasy" of that being loved feeling. We are wired to feel really repulsed by sexual the actions of a girl YOU LIKE with another guy. Therefore, the majority of men and women separate females in two categories: good and slutty. It's complete bullshit. Look around you man, it's all because of us. MEN invented the burka in Islamic societies, MEN charged women of adultery. But when you look at it the other way around, men are supposedly allowed to have multiple wives no problem.

I'm pro-slut too. You know why? Because I've LEARNED that it's all a fantasy. A porn actress if capable of love. Everyone can and wants love. If I can just ignore my bullshit mind and just enjoy her feminine energy, I'll be much better off mentally and physically. Shit, maybe I can fuck her too.

I never liked the word much myself. But I've found it appropriate to use for girls already in exclusive relationships. A girl who cheats is a slut. End of story. If she isn't in a relationship, she should be free to do whatever she wants. Girls should be able to have just as much fun as guys ;) But the second she commits to a relationship, monogamy should be EXPECTED from her (aside from open relationships). Same goes with us guys.

In general, I believe Women can be defined as sluts or whores.

Sluts have sex because they want to, and they enjoy it.

Whores use sex as a bargaining chip, they make you work for sex.

In that case, I am pro-slut also. But the word slut has very negative connotations to it because it is thrown around so often. Slut often associates to dirty, unfaithful and cheap.

The word is negatively used by people who are jealous.

Jealous guys will say slut, because the girl will sleep with anyone, but the jealous guy.

Jealous girls will say slut, because they don't get as much attention as the "slut".

But All in all Sluts= sexually liberated (Yay) and sluts > whores
