| Post subject: | When do YOU delete a girl's number? |
There are situations where I delete a girl's number 1) Flakes a few times 2) Does something disrespectful to me, 3) Does not respond to my text or calls, and it's been a few months Deletion of a girl's number helps me FORGET about that girl. It's a ritual that helps me psychologically forget a girl. I was wondering, do you guys delete a girl's number in ANY situation? and if so, why? |

deleting numbers dont mean shit... ignoring someone and keeping them in your phone .. or deleting .. whats the fucking difference ? it's just a ego thing.. you hate someone and you want to get back to them so you delete their number and you think you feel good... keep the numbers in your phone.. maybe you get a STD and you need to get back to that person .. or maybe you have regret about something you said and you want to apologize... if you are fucking obsessive.. you cannot control yourself and you need to contact that person - if this is the case then delete for your own benefit... but don't delete someone because you are having a ego trip. deleting numbers never change something.. it's just retarded self defense.. just break through your ego and learn to live with it - that gives you 1000 times more satisfaction that deleting some illusional superficial shit. |

I don't delete numbers ever, because I agree with what Lode said. But also, you have to consider that as recently as mid 2010, I was a COMPLETE AFC. The idea of getting a number or having any success with women seemed so improbable to me, so if I ever need to remind myself how far I have come, I can take a look at my phone book and all the numbers I've gotten since my chump days. Numbers aren't hugely relevant or important, but they can remind me of the person I have become. |

deleting them is better imo, why the f would i want to keep all these useless numbers in my phone, My manly fingers are to big to click the tiny ass letters on the side. Ergo I have to manually scroll down to get someone in my contacts >_> ... I swear to god phones were made for chicks. |

i have about two dozen "ASSHOLES" in my phone, and about four or five "BITCH"es i put a . (period) in front of their respective names "Asshole" and "Bitch", so that they go to the bottom of my contact list and i don't have to scroll through them. |

In the dating world, what works for you, doesn't necessarily work for everyone. Please be respectful to other people's methods.ignoring someone and keeping them in your phone .. or deleting .. whats the fucking difference ? it's just a ego thing.. you hate someone and you want to get back to them so you delete their number and you think you feel good... keep the numbers in your phone.. maybe you get a STD and you need to get back to that person .. or maybe you have regret about something you said and you want to apologize... if you are fucking obsessive.. you cannot control yourself and you need to contact that person - if this is the case then delete for your own benefit... but don't delete someone because you are having a ego trip. deleting numbers never change something.. it's just retarded self defense.. just break through your ego and learn to live with it - that gives you 1000 times more satisfaction that deleting some illusional superficial shit. I do not find any satisfaction over keeping a girl's number that rejected me. |

with all the respect, this is just stupid. It follows the brad pitt theory that Neil Strauss talks about in the Game. If it was Brad Pitt asking her out on a date, would she flake? No she wouldn't, she flaked on guy X because she's not interested. If the girl suggests an alternative time and place, then she's probably interested. |

Deleting a number can be done to save space on you phone. Are you ever gonna use it again? If yes, save, if no, delete. Simple as that. |

No she wouldn't, she flaked on guy X because she's not interested. For one, theories are theories. Unless you field test them and decide whether they work for you, they don't mean much. Neil's frame on this is "I don't chase girls", which is fine and which I agree with. As for BP, I kinda don't care about him. You have to realize that a girl can flake on you for millions of reasons. And you shouldn't care if she flakes on you or decides to go out with you. I used to be that kinda guy who would would get pissed and delete her number if she wouldn't respond in 10 minutes. Deleting her number is "low value" thing. It shows that you care about her, even though you're trying to convince yourself that you don't and that you're a real man who doesn't take shit from some bitch. If you really want to show that you're strong and alpha and shit, don't show reaction. Show indifference. Nothing hurts like indifference. Quote: If the girl suggests an alternative time and place, then she's probably interested.
This is actually true, but this can change. She doesn't have to like you that much to sleep with you. Next time you call her, she might just want to get laid or she's looking for validation or million other things. Unless you try, you can never tell. And you don't lose any value by doing this. No one can take value away from you without your consent.Best regards Fiddle, Defy |

Quote: 2) Does something disrespectful to me,
this thread is stupid... i agree.. you delete someone because you don't have them in your life as a friend or whatever... Deleting someone to save space on your phone is a good reason - you do it for yourself.. deleting someone because they are being disrespectfull it's just stupid .. you perceive it as being disrespectfull..99 % of the guys delete number out of their shitty ego.. you can forget a girl without deleting their number. just forget her and then you don't have to delete the number... if you need to delete numbers everytime you dealt with woman then you probably have poor inner game.. if you need to discharge aggression on a stupid phone number with your shitty ego then that is your heads up that something is wrong with you... i mean what the fuck... just visualize yourself deleting that chick ( ex gf or whatever ) from your phone with a angry face pressing buttons on beastmode... do you want to be that guy ? ASIDE FROM THAT.. lets say you found out you got aids .. you probably want to call all your ex-GFs to give them a heads up... at least everyone you have slept with. when i see a number of a previous GF , date or hookup in my phone... i just remember the experience and how i enjoyed it ... it doesn't have to be all this negative assocation like shit. Sometimes it's good thing to save someones number - so you can remember the lesson you learned from it. you delete numbers to save space... every other reason is retarded and stupid. lol mack.. i had lotsa nicknames on my phone.. cokebitch paranormal cuntigator cancersaur cumwhore.. i had like 15 of those names in a row until my ex-gf looked on my phone.. she saw all those names and seriously interogated me about it lol... |

Which is why i usually wait till they do multiple flakes, and by this i mean, she waits until the last minute to cancel on me. I do keep a lot of numbers of girls I don't talk to, so I have a small library going on. I just rather not deal or be reminded of girls that have no value and no history to me. |
