| Post subject: | Need to STOP avoiding people! |
I'm in college I need to start making new friends other than my housemates. I find myself avoiding people from home that I know are in my lectures because I feel it would be awkward as I don't talk to them often and I fear i'll have nothing interesting to say. When I walk into a lecture I pray that I won't meet anyone I know. Surely this can't be right, I know it's not right! Thoughts? |

Start with the basic foundations. Say hi to people, make some random comments about stuff and eject. Do it regularly and you'll see that eventually they'll start saying hi and more to you back. Be persistant. |
