| Post subject: | Breaking the friend zone |
Ok, met this girl on campus a few months ago. She had a crush on me. She is definitely a 9. I'm used to 7-9's and an occasional 10 (talking to and dating, not sex) so I wasn't intimidated. The problem was a lot of stuff has happened to her lately and I was there for her. Being the sweet guy. Even drove to her work the other day and took her to lunch. She texts me first everyday, and always wants to hang out, usually just us two and do hw or eat at the school food court. Now she refers to me as her best friend. But she did, however, text my best friend the other day claiming she still liked me but didnt want to risk our friendship. I really would like to settle down, or at least try to but how do I break this friend zone she just put on me????? |

You gotta let her know what your intentions are...either by busting a move or telling her. If she declines, you need to cut her out completely and tell her it's for your best interest to get over your feelings for her so you can move onto someone else. If she really likes you, the busting a move will work, if she's unsure, then once you tell her you're moving on and cut her out, she may realize she is going to lose you and try to get you back. Or...if you are friend zoned...then you need to cut her out of your life so you can move on...and do what's best for you. Go date other girls. Either way you do what's right for you and keeps you in the best spirits so your confidence stays hi and you are attractive to other women. |

I almost did that last night. I'm extreely confident but I chickened out. The fact of the matter is that she isn't just some broad I want to pick up and hit and quit. she is different. I would risk losing her as a friend if we tried a relationship, but I don't want her to say no, then lose her as a friend for no benefit at all. I guess that's the biggest dilema. I'm trying the ignore and be short approach starting today. Maybe she will miss me always being there for her and try to pursue me to get us back to that level. |

I think you're just delaying what eventually needs to be done by going with this plan of yours. I think the probability of this plan working in your favor is a lot lower than you just busting the move. |

Hey dude, My advice to you is, do not talk to her about your feelings or becoming more than friends just go for the kiss next chance you get and don't think twice about it, if she says she just wants to be friends just smile and say the 'the bestest' and then keep kissing her. Once you have kissed her it's on, she will go with the path of least resistance, just don't leave it a moment longer because otherwise she will value you too much as a friend, just be bold and listen to your instincts not your logic. |

I think busting out the move would back fire, i feel like i need to create chase, and I'm trying. But how do you suggest I go and kiss her, like wait untill we are alone and chilling in her dorm? any game i should try and run first or strategies to use so I can lower the risk of rejection? |

I did the way you say, to one girl three days ago. I was stucked in friend zone in write some little itentions, and don't have respond from that. I lost one friend, but my itentions was to be with her. I am glad that's over. It really sucks to be in friend zone. Now i am interacting with two girl, and i am glad that's over:) |

Sounds like you've screwed up big time with this girl may as well get the pain over with and find out if she's interested or not. I promise if you don't make that move another guy will then how would that make you feel? |

I know. I guess I'm to hesitant to tell her. Like I don't want to here no. I'm not scared of rejection, I just don't want it from a girl I have feelings for. |

Honestly I would isolate her when you were both drinking and then make your move, don't talk about it just do it and if it feels right and she feels the same way then she will reciprocate. Either way at least if you've been drinking and it doesn't work the way you hope you'll still be able to act like you were too drunk to remember or just apologise for being really out of it, it's not ideal but it's your best shot at finding out whether she's into you and have a chance of salvaging the friendship. I've done this before by the way, still friends with the girl (turned out she liked pussy more than cock) True story. |

The first thing heffty wrote is totally true, show your intentions, maybe it works, maybe it doesnt but anyway you have given it your best and showed your intentions, its up to her to decide, if not move on with your life and she has lost something that was valuble to her. Go out and have fun, never ever talk to her. I've been there, and I can tell you that if she really likes you she will come back for you, dont trust that she is just missing her good friend.. why?(if you're lucky she will come back for you) because every guy has an intention with a women, its a daily process for them and to find a good friend is hard, specially a good boy friend. If shes really desperate she will even consider a fuck buddy relationship, but thats not good in these kind of circumstances because they never last. (if you're not really lucky) This is my summerized experienced story for you! Sometimes it goes as planned, sometimes it doesnt, thats a part of life. To really get a women you have to show intentions early and don't chicken out on your opportunities and also to escalate talking and dating to something more than just that, show her the way to a relationship, you have to show the way, if she likes you she will follow, or else she will play hard, or else its just a friend zone and you need to get out of that. Good luck! |

What she's really saying is "I want a relationship just not with you..."Girls say stuff like that too let you down easy and because they don't want to lose you as a friend you'll be a fool if you believe it. Stop wasting your time with this one move on. Your only chance here is to try to go for the kiss no there's no secret get her in the mood to kiss technique just do it. |
