I don't know what happened, yesterday things were going great. Today when I woke up something was wrong. I reverted back into my old shy and introverted self and feel like people are just flaking me all day. Damn I can't seem to get over this bad mojo. I've tried some meditation and self-assurance and going out to do some random errands just to socialize a bit but hasn't helped. I don't want to go out clubbing because it will end in disaster with such low energy. Anyone else have these kind of days when you just can't pull your act together? What do you do then? |

I've had this problem before and yea I know what you mean. Generally I used to try and sleep it off or workout to try and feel better, but that only helped a little. I think what really helps though is "rewriting your story" a teaching that I first picked up from a PUA named Brent Smith. It focuses on putting even the worst situations in a positive light. Might be worth a look. Look into it online. Its kind of like the movie/book the secret if you ever heard of that. |

I have these shitty days all the time. And at the end of these shitty days I always tend to dwell on what could've been. I think about what I coulda done. If only I wasnt a pussy and touched her hair, I might have k-closed, etc. Looking back, it only causes stress and fucks me up. So I think the logical thing to do is just look forward to tomorrow. If you don't feel like clubbing, don't force yourself to. If you don't feel like you're in the mood for pick up, just chill with the boys. Tomorrow's another day. And I think if there's a specific girl you're thinking about taht's bringing you down, she probably won't be thinking about you or care to a significant extent about your "low energy", unless you built enough attraction. And if she is thinking about you, then you shouldn't feel down cause you did something right. =p |

Can you provide me with a link? I tried googling it but all that comes up is some religious preachings.

What a great thread, the answer to this really would be helpful! I try to look at it in terms of becks "triangle of depression" not to say you are depressed if you have a bad day, but feeling down in general is usually result of either A. negative view about yourself B. negative view of the world/others C. negative view of the future. I like to remind myself im awesome, people are awesome and the world is full of adventure, and that the future will be wonderful. other than that, working out is always good. sometimes though, i think we all just have bad days. |

When I get like this, I like to be alone for the night. Drink a few beers, nerd out and play video games or watch a movie alone. Put specific focus on what you're doing at that point in time. Don't think about what happened that day, and don't think about tomorrow. Just focus on unwinding and having "alone time". |

This is the best advice anyone could ever get.

First of all, if you have a bad day, that's ok. Everyone has them. If you have a bad day don't do anything you don't want to do (except for work ofcourse if you don't want to lose your job). Don't go out if you're negative and don't feel like it. Don't think about pickup. Allow yourself to be negative for some time, but at a certain moment, dare to say ENOUGH to negative feelings, stop thinking about it and do distracting things like downloading and watching a movie if you don't feel like doing anything. However, a good advice for if you unexplainably feel bad: do some sports. It realy helps. Doesn't matter what kind of sport as long as it involves exercise or movements. Not only a great deal of scientific researches proves this, I as well always feel better after doing field hockey, biking or dancing. |

Thanks dudes, helpful words. I managed to get some mojo back tonight. I went chatting to a random room and got the MSN of a chick and she's totally into me. Don't even care if I blow it, that was just a total win for me. It did seem like she's down for a date (seems quite shy) but honestly it doesn't matter. |
