I know there are a lot of threads on here talking about the kind of books people have read and should read, but what books should i read for starting out. I have read a couple books and I will list them, but Ive heard Mystery's stuff is outdated. Anything Style writes it BS and RSD's stuff isnt the right way. So now im officially confused. Im looking for books to teach me how to open through close like a guide. I want books that teach a system not stuff like NLP books and books such as Red Queen but books that teach the game.

Mystery Method (the older book)
How to become an alpha male John Alexander

Thats pretty much it help please i want to start to learn.

I'm now reading the 60 years of challenge book (for fun), and looks interesting, but can't comment until I'm done.

Also, check material from Joseph Matthews on inner game. I can't remember the name of the book, but man...his audio books are just powerful in terms of helping you become an alpha male.

All three of those books are some of the better ones, however you have the author wrong, "How to Become an Alpha Male"" by John Alexander

Ive read about 35 of these books as I find them entertaining. I would also advise

Double your Dating by David DeAngelo and the Gunwitch audio series


I find 60 years interesting, he takes a total caveman approach which can be successful but its gonna go against the Mystery/Love Sysytems stuff so they cant exist in the same applicable technique universe. I actually use hybrid method which is between these two extremes of total caveman vs. total croquette

Ok thanks guys. Im new to this forum but not to PUAing i use to be in this alot about 5 years ago but got into a serious relationship and kinda fell off. Now im trying to get back into this and learn all the new methods that there are because as we all know the "game" gets refreshed all the time. Anymore books anyone can recommend? i also bought Carols Xuma's book about alpha males i hope it good.

Carlos X is fairly good but hes hardly gonna say anything you haven't read from Alexanders book. Most of these books tend to repeat the same valid stuff over and over again, some just explain their case a lot better then others.

Also the game doesn't get refreshed , just certain trite techniques get overexposed. So you may want to chill on the relationship opinion openers, girl titty fight story, dogs vs cats, "stop thinking about me" text, and various other sundry lines that guys with no game use verbatim rather then come up with original material. Alternately asking a girls zodiac sign as an opener may be effective again

The game does get refreshed as in new material come in and old goes out or old material gets a makeover. I just heard the old material isnt as effective as before. Such as you cant just walk up to a girl and ask "I need a girls opinion on something......" because it was worn out. I know all the books will pretty much be the same but as you said thats the reason i like reading other books too. Some do express better so everything i need to learn is explained a little simpler, if that makes sense. lol
