Post subject:  Situation with Ex-Gf?

Hey guys so about 3-4 weeks ago I broke up with my long-term gf (she broke it off). However, she wanted to stay close friends. I told her I needed some time alone to get over her. She was against it at first, but eventually agreed.

Fast Forward: I messaged her and we started talking, but this time I noticed that she was being really awkward, like she wasn't acting her usual self. I told her that she didn't need to worry if she thought I still had feelings for her.

Then things went more downhill from there. All she said was are you sure? and then i replied "yeah i am." After that, the convo just kind of died.

I've talked to her twice after that, in which she acts uninterested in the conversation so the conversation really goes nowhere. I'm kind of confused because she was the one who wanted to stay close friends. Should I not bother trying to be friends with her and move on? Thanks

I think she felt guilty and that's why she offered the "friendship deal". Chances are she didn't want to remain friends, but didn't want to hurt you badly.

Now, she's giving you all the signs of disinterest possible so you get tired and stop trying to get in touch with her.

In simple terms, move on. The relationship ended, so it's time to look for something else. Not only it's healthier for you, but also for her. :)

Good luck

You said you broke up with her, but she said lets stay close friends, that's more like an offer from the dumper

But anyway, being friend with your ex is just an urban myth, especially after break up, why keep up contact to prolong the pain and delay moving on?

All girls do that, she broke up with you but she doesn’t want to lose you, until she finds someone better she needs an ego boost in the meantime someone to keep her from feeling bad, or if she doesn’t find anything better she will try and comeback.

Unfortunately in their heads are so screwed that her manipulative plot to keep you in her port is fucking with her so she becomes guilty, and hopes you have the the balls to kick her ass to the curbe. Yeah womens dont think rational.

To all guys that there ex… wants to be friends its easy answer. Fuck her she broke up, so let her live her life AND YOU LIvE YOURS, BITCH FREE.

Between women and man there is no friendship especially in exs, so tell her you should go your separate ways.

I believe you can get back together but only have both of you have made massive changes in your life and start from scratch. That's the only way. If you're both the same people then your just playing ego games.
