I have this running friend (female). Make a long story short, we initially met, obviously chemistry and it turned into a date. We went on a real date and had a blast! At the time, I wasn't "legally" divorced yet and she said she felt weird going out with someone's husband, even though she knew my wife moved out, etc. I'm not one of these guy's that over inflates his ego, so I know there was something there. Oh, this was probably the real killer, I was still tagged in my wedding photos on my facebook page, which she called me out on (I fixed that). I couldn't be mad at her, I told her I'd let her know when my papers are signed, but that I didn't expect her to stay single for very long. We chatted from time to time, most about sports and running stuff, nothing crazy, oh and I did tell her when my papers signed. Around that time she started dating some total tool looking guy, I mean, it's just bad. But whatever, I'm a gentlemen and never mentioned it at all. We're obviously still FB friends. She posted something about her marathon training progress, which I commented ALL RUNNING LINGO, there was absolutely nothing flirtatios at all; other guys commented as well. Seriously, it was all boring technically running talk and nothing more, of course wished her good luck. She actually deleted the comment ??! She didn't de-friend me though. I could just be bored today, but I thought the whole thing was quite odd. She never did anything like that when we mutually commented about sports. Would I like another shot at this girl? Probably, but I really don't lose any sleep over it...I just thought that whole thing was odd. |

Ok, so what's your question? We chatted from time to time, most about sports and running stuff, nothing crazy, oh and I did tell her when my papers signed. Around that time she started dating some total tool looking guy, I mean, it's just bad. But whatever, I'm a gentlemen and never mentioned it at all. We're obviously still FB friends. Probably, but I really don't lose any sleep over it...I just thought that whole thing was odd. Do you have a chance with her? Probably not or at least not right away. The fact that she deleted your comment means that she doesn't want any exposure from you, which could be a sign that her boyfriend (or other people) knows about you. For now, my advice would be to let it go. She's dating the tool, she has you on FB out of courtesy, and the fact that she moved on should be a clue for you to do the same. Sorry if I'm being brutally honest, but might as well tell you as I see it. |

Oh, hehehe, I probably should've added something, I did comment once, in a nice friendly way, nothing suggestive, how well put together she looked in one of our pics (her outfit)...it was a pic with the tool. I kept in innocent sounding enough, but what all know how guys think....hehehehe... So, perhaps it was to be expected even though the other comments were strictly about running...
