ok, so i want your two cents on where i should go with this. today i went into a home decorating store (it was beached themed selling balsa wood and the like) went up to the counter and told the girl (hb9) i was doing a social challenge and had to compliment 5 girls. i told her she was cute and she started getting giggly and thanked me. i told her that i had cheated by telling her it was a challenge and would she have liked it as much if i didnt tell her that and she said yes. an hour later i went back in the store and by the time i got to the counter she already had a big smile and i said... me-"hey look, i was about to get in my car and i realised i would have kicked myself if i didnt at least try this so, do you maybe wanna give me your number?" her-"oh my god you dont even know me!" (smiling the whole time) "of course i do. you are the seaweed girl" this didnt convince her so i said "i will get to know you" btw this whole time i was smiling what felt like a really childish smile and i have braces.... her-"oh my god you are so cute, okay" she puts number in my phone.... we small talk about if i work nearby etc etc. so boys. lay it on me. what do i do next? |

In future: • Don't tell them you're doing a challenge, just compliment them. • Don't go for the number so quickly. Get to know a bit about them first. • Don't smile at them "childishly," a little cheeky smirk is enough. Think SEXUAL. For this situation - CALL her, build a bit of rapport&comfort, make a few jokes, then set up a date during the week in the evening or on the weekend during the day (weekend evenings are the least likely for her to be free). |
