As in, how do you approach it? Is there a methodical way to study this stuff? I have been reading and loosely studying for about almost 1.5 years but I still find myself searching and being stuck in my own head during attempted pickups. I have studied from all different methodologies from David D to Roosh to Mystery yet I can't systematically get it down to a science in the field. I still struggle with approaches but I thrive in social circle pickups. I really cannot understand how Im going about it the wrong way, but I know I am. I understand concepts and when Im not in the situation, I can always think of the best way to handle it,yet when it gets to the moment of truth, I have trouble implementing and I think it's due to lack of practice or preparation. Is there a methodical way to study game? like steps to take and tricks to learning stuff so that it becomes second nature so that you dont have to think so hard when you are in field? I have some strengths and would like to address my weaknesses. here they are: strengths: - good looking - sociable and outgoing; fun - very good at gaming within a social circle - commonly told by women that I am charming; give off pre-selection vibe very well - F-closing once she is at my place weaknesses: - day game - cold approaching - responding to shit tests - cant get out of my head sometimes. think too hard, have trouble coming off natural sometimes. other times, im in a zone and cant fuck up - occasionally I have trouble escalating - use alcohol as a launchpad for my game. this cannot be healthy - tend to move things along too fast, once I have f-closed. |

QFT. The only REAL way to improve your game is to game as many women as possible, every day go out of your way. Educate yourself as much as you can - read and re-read lots of the popular PUA books recommended on these forums all the time.. The game, DYD, mystery etc

I'd have to agree with the above posters. Practice makes perfect. I can spend 10 years reading and re-reading guides, articles, and how-to's on doing a certain subject, but until I actually DO it, I'm basically useless. Imagine going to a Doctor who's spent 4 more years in school than a normal doctor. Now imagine a doctor who's gone the regular amount of time, but has been practicing for 17-23 years. Personally, I'd want the doctor who's been practicing. Or you can think of it like a college professor who sits all high and mighty, demands that his name be preceded by "Dr.", but hasn't spent a DAY out in the REAL WORLD where you will be, and probably spends most of his time reading on the theory of the subject. That guy versus the teacher you get at a night class who actually HAS a real job and teaches because he LOVES it, gives real life examples of the questions presented in the book, and makes the subject relate to you, and you fall in love with the subject just as the teacher has. Practice makes perfect. |
