Post subject:  Tattoo for peacocking?
I've been thinking about getting a sleeve tattoo.

I'm 19 year old, tall and pretty fit. And if I would have one made it should be done very neatly, pricy shit.

I care alot about politics and the enviroment. So far, what's on my mind is a dollarbill burning, and a Gandhi quote.

Would like to know about other peoples experiences with peacocking with a tattoo, or is it definetly a no go?

I have two tattoos. They are both hidden when I wear a shirt but where I live it is hot and so I often wear singlets or go shirtless (at the beach).
Idk what society where you are feel about tattoos but girls here love them! They are always asking to see and touch them, it's great and there is always a bit of shock value for people who haven't seen your tattoos but then you take off your shirt and BAM.
That being said however I once had a girl I was gaming say "tattoos are gross" but I still got the number anyway.
Just make sure you can talk about the metaphor of your tatts and relate them to yourself

Hahaha....and this is a perfect example of why we have to come up with these crazy PUA formulas for getting with them. If they made logical sense, it would just be logical.

I have tats.. If you love em, the girls love em (in general). It's all about owning it really.. If they don't like em then fuck those girls, frankly based on that alone I dont think they're very cool. However, don't get a tat for peacocking. Get a tat if you want a tat, it will draw attention so you dont have to worry about people noticing it (if you get it somewhere visable that is).. Just don't get one specifically cause you want to peacock harder, that's stupid.

Some people do, IE tribals, tramp stamps on girls.. I'm not a fan but these will still be cool as long as you think theyre cool and act the part.. Look at Dave Grohl. However id still recommend not getting them specifically for that reason.. Should have meaning behind them.

Well the tattoo is first and foremost meant as a reminder to myself, of my believes in life and humanity. That would be it's primary value.

The reason I made this post was to get an idea if it could hold a secondary value in terms of peacocking.

So I am getting the tattoo for myself, because I want it. Not to get laid.

Totally.. I can't think of a single more (potentially) unique and individual way of setting yourself apart from other people appearance-wise.. Like I said its all about attitude

Anyway, I'm getting 2 next month.
My first is going to be a dead tree going up my ribs and slightly onto my front. with birds flying away from it across my torso and chest.

I'm also considering getting lipstick marks on my neck or wrist.

I didn't read responses just OP. Why the fuck would ou get a tattoo to peacock?

If you actually are into tattoo's then yes it grabs peoples attention. People associate tattoo's to badass bikers and criminals. Get's girls excited! I have never heard any girl say "gross, he has tattoos". I think it can work in your favour. But I think there is a thin line with tattoos. If you go all MS13 with face tats, you've gone to far.

I completely agree. If you do get one just for picking up chicks, or showing off, then you'll regret getting the tattoo within a few weeks.

If it has no meaning, it will be completely useless, and you'll dislike it a lot, and getting a tattoo removed is 10x more painful than getting one in the first place.

I've considered getting a tattoo, preferably a Latin quote on my left arm, where a short sleeved t-shirt would cover it up, but a sleeveless tee would show it off proudly. If you do decide to get one, think about it really hard before you go for it.
