When do girlfriends cheat?

Post subject:  When do girlfriends cheat?
Luckily, this has not happened to me before.

But I was just considering this, as it seems pretty normal to do...what makes girls actually cheat?

Assuming you're good to your girl, aren't a prick, arouse her sexually, and be an all rounded good guy (ya know, care for her. Show her that you're useful. Show her that other people like you as a person as well etc)...what reason would a girl have to do that?

Is it random when girls cheat? Or does something usually lead to it?
I'm very happy with my relationship at the moment, so am obviously asking because this in my opinion would be one of the worst things possible :P

Feel free to share stories about if you have been cheated on, or alternatively what motivated YOU to cheat on someone. If you wish, of course. It will all help me understand this a little better.

I would say has to be the moral of the girls. of course some behavior can increase the probability to cheat(being needy , boring as hell, no sexual chemistry, don’t have time, or even low self esteem), but none of what I mentioned is a legit excuse for her to cheat except if she is in a relationship with a boyfriend who beats her and tell if she leaves she will kill her and her puppy. She has a choice, to jump of the boat, and look for something better. So in your case scenario has to be the personality her beliefs, and her morals, lets be honest your girl is hit up by guys at least one guy has “game” and she becomes attracted, and she thinks “what if”, this behavior I consider normal. Normally all girls will flirt, very few turn there back and leave some draw the lines but again she has two choices cheat or not to cheat, again morals and beliefs of the person he doesnt deserve, some girls will think about there boyfriend and thinking Im good with him, and will be disrespectful doing this, other thinks screw him he will never know so it cant hurt him, and its so excited(even if it you are the perfect man) sometimes is never enough. I would never date a girl who tells me she already cheated on her ex( even if he was a loser) again a choice to kick his ass to the curbe and have sex with other guys.

Yea I pretty much agree with HPM, generally, chicks are either cheaters or they're not. Some girls will cheat on every boyfriend they ever have, some girls will cheat on none. There are some exceptions but her history will most likely continue on with future boyfriends.

Some people have zero morals.

Women cheat when they're not being satisfied in a relationship, whether it is emotionally or sexually.

Women in love don't care about other men no matter how hot they are. They're focus on one because that's who they feel satisfy them better.

Also, women who feel they have too much control in the relationship tend to cheat more often. Even if you're great to her, she won't see you with too much value, which could end up in cheating.

Nothing is written in stone, and even if you're the best that comes around a woman, she might still cheat. If Brad Pitt shows up naked on her bed and you're not around, she might go for it. ;)

Not to really repeat what others have said but women tend to cheat when they are not getting what they want out of the relationship. This not to say girls cheat for the hell of it as they get a window of opportunity. But really girls pretty much cheat for the same reasons guys can.

More than often something leads up to it. Not many girls just randomly cheat.

Sounds like you are worried that your girl is cheating. Because if you weren't you won't be asking. I am not saying your girl is cheating as I have no idea.

everyone cheats, it's the standards and timing that differ.

Alright, cool as :) Probably the answers I was kinda expecting, but that's not a bad thing.

Jurupa nah. I'm positive she isn't, and can't really imagine her doing that. Of course, I could be wrong...but she doesn't have a history of it and it seems she has stronger than normal morals.
The exact reason why I posted this is to make sure that I understand the reasons why girls cheat (I was worried that maybe something I currently do, like not replying to texts straight away etc) so that I can avoid those sorts of mistakes, if any universally surefire ones exist.

Luckily, the chances of a male equivalent to her, like Brad Pitt for example (Who has not only looks...but more importantly massive status worldwide lol) lying on her bed and telling her "Let's fuck" is most probably an event which will never occur.

the rich neighbor
the wealthy boss from work
the old "friend" from highschool who is now a lawyer
the personal trainer
etc

But Mack, you're assuming that if something better came along - she would go for it without a doubt. I don't really think that's so likely as a reason for a girl to cheat. I doubt the majority of girls will fuck a guy who is a better option, just because hes better financially/physically/whatever.
As long as she has more than two neurons working at a time coupled with moderate morals, the girl should realise that consequences outweigh sleeping with a better option.
For example,
-She will lose her current boyfriend.
-Her friends will think low of her because they also like her current boyfriend.

Unless maybe that option was somehow superior in EVERY single sense, to the point where her friends would even agree with her decision.
But no guy like that exists. If that's the scale were looking at, I truthfully do believe I am the best she will come across.

Then again, I guess my faith is so high because I haven't (I mean, to my knowledge) been cheated on thus far. Maybe you might have?

If so, and if you don't mind...could you share some details?

Above all, although I think your opinion may be a little black-and-white, I do really appreciate the feedback you have. Not only to this post, but to most of my posts in which you have replied to. Cheers
