Post subject:  how do I show that I'm interested?
do you guys think its a good ideia to invite a girl (who's been friends with you for over a year) to have dinner at your house? i'm not sure how i should show her that i'm interested...we are rarely alone together cause we have friends all around us all the time. She is also friends with benefits with some guy and they have dinner together sometimes. Since its nothing serious i may assume that she is in a position to be gamed. What are your thoughts on this?

PS: when we go out with our friends she usually walks by my side. Sometimes she pokes me in a playful way and if i ask her to do me a favor of some sort she asks for a kiss on the cheek..IOI's?

She's probably interested, and you've probably taken too long to pull a move on her. What do you really want from her? Are you interested? In what way? As a guy who wants to fuck her with no attachments, or as someone who wants a relationship?

Think about it...;)

she's been in a friends with benefits relationship way before I started to develop feelings for her. Right now I only have a crush on her, but she once said that she wasn't interested in having a boyfriend. I'd like to have a relationship with her but if what she wanted was to just fuck with no attachments i'd be ok with that.

BTW, yesterday i was passing by her when she was talking to a friend and at the exact moment I was passing she said to him that she was having dinner with the guy I told you about. (i dunno if it was on purpose)

It's tough to escape the friend zone once it's been established. This may require a freeze out (of a couple weeks) in which you pursue other girls.

Otherwise you'll probably just have to be bold and go for it. When she's expecting a kiss on the cheek, go for a kiss on the lips. No guarantees on its success though; it depends how firmly you've been established in the FZ...

As Crimson said your in a low probability, bad position.

I suggest you make an aggressive move if you really don't care if you loose her as a friend, and if you want a quick, "get blown or get blown out style resolution".

If you really do want to retain your friendship while having a slightly better chance of making her your GF, then have less contact with her, and tell her about all the fun your having and hot chicks your humping while hoping to meet your "soulmate". You can very subtle attributing your "Soulmate" characteristics to her. Don't be needy, it wont work.

Either way man your kind of describing a get out of the friend zone issue which is typically a loser scenario.

You're at risk of being friend zoned if you're not already there.

There are benefits to having close female friends. Text her and say "lets go out for a night out", be playful but also start talking to other girls while you're out. Point out girls that you think are nice and go talk to them. She'll be handy to have around when you open sets up or even go direct.

If there are any feelings, she'll get jealous/envious and you'll find out how she feels about you. The flip side is she's happy for you for meeting someone and you get laid, get a kiss or at least a number. You never know you might meet someone you like more. Win/win situation in my books.

it would be a win/win except for I have the suspicion that he really cares for her. Thus considering the possibility of feeling super shitty by keeping him in the friend zone or making a move and blowing it its a pernicious, if all too common, situation.

It's tricky. First of all you really need to figure out if you are / are NOT in the friend zone.If you are , you'll need a freeze out. If you still have chances of saving your self start building sexual tension asap.For example , when she asks for a kiss on the cheek kiss her near the corner of her mouth if you think it would be too much to go for a kiss on the lips.

Trying to get more 1on1 time with her might also be a good ideea.

I'm definitely in the Friend Zone lol i've been friends with her for more than a year. Anyways, I started giving attention to other girls...last night i met a freshman girl and we talked for a bit and then i spent the rest of the night with her and some other friends of mine. Guess what happened, Jessica (Friend Zone girl) went home very early (few minutes after I met the freshman), and she usually spends the whole night out with me and if she doesnt know where I am she always texts me or calls me ahah Im gonna keep on gaming other girls and if Jessica likes me she'll get jealous and i will find out.
