| Post subject: | Getting back into the Game |
Hey guys, I'm a long time follower of the Pick up code and it was thanks to the works of Maniac High (at www.pickupguide.com) that I was able to drop my V card with a girl who was 8.5/10 (in my eyes anyways But anyways here I am, one year after that incident and I've been trying to get back into the game but there's something missing. I have a couple of questions and I want to see how you guys respond in each situation. I feel like I'm doing a lot of things wrong. 1. How does one get back into the Game again after being cold for almost a year already? Should I just head straight in or take it slowly and start afresh ? I've gone through the theory but it's almost as if I know it by heart (just some specifics like routines I would forget) Is there something I should read BEFORE i begin my hunt? 2. I currently hold a job that provides almost full time hours and doing full time uni (even though Im completely fucking up SPAM). How does everyone else really find that time to pick up? Should I go picking up once a week dedicating a day entirely to pick up or is there an easier way? Should I try the clubbing scene (felt it was really difficult since its so bloody noisy and you cant even hear yourself speak). 3. Is it true that you can actually regress back to AFC or.. is it just me being completely pessimistic? (i felt i was a lot braver back then, would pick up girls from malls, food courts, uni classes etc.) 4. Is it reasonable for me to not pick up if I feel like all of the controllable factors (such as clothing, fashion, how tired I am) even if I see a hot girl? There was a couple of times where I would see a hot girl coming from work but id feel so fken tired and dont look as good if I actually tried to do my hair and wear fashionable clothing, cologne etc. Thanks guys... |

I'm on the same boat with the whole full-time uni and working heaps. This has been going on for roughly all year and I do actually feel like I am going back to AFC. For example I seem to develop old habbits, such as since my work is night-shift I find myself playing pc games more often which I quit years ago. But on the other hand my job is at a casino so I get more used to interacting with very attractive women which makes me feel more confortable around them. But during uni I just feel too tired to bother with daygame on campus. My advice would be to cut back on work hours or do part-time uni and get some decent sleep. This would make you feel more refreshed and less stressed, which means a more positive vibe |

Quote: are you planning to start picking up again soon enough or is our circumstances just make it way too difficult to have that "vibe" to pick up?
First I've got about a month of uni left + exams which I really got to pull some high scores. After that I'll work heaps around the Xmas-New Year season since that's really busy at work, plus to get heaps of cash. Then I'll cut back on hours heaps in Febuary. Our cirsumstance is just making us overworked, which can have some serious health problems (I was on anti-depressants around the Easter season due to a bad case of sleep deprivation), so I strongly advise doing Full-time Part-time rather than both Full-Time. I did do some daygame a few months back but the problem was getting enough time on short notice to plan a day to meet her before the momentum of number closing was lost. Finding time for an instadate was was very rare as well |
