Negging is a fantastic tool; however, it daringly brings you close to disaster. Insecure women should not be negged much, if at all. All women are insecure to some extent, but there is a certain level of insecurity where the girl doesn't need it.

Whether we like it or not, the art of pickup is growing, and when surrounded by a crowd of guys that are "in the know", women will most likely find themselves getting negged to hell. I'd advise to everyone that they need to understand that negging should usually be a very subtle thing except in certain situations, and should be used very carefully. As I've mentioned in another post, the neg should only be used when the girl is conceited and thinks she's better than you in some way. A neg should be fun, and never should be mean spirited. Think of a neg as an equalizer, instead of as your main technique. Good luck with your negs, friends!

It's easy at the beginning of one's PUA "career" to neg too much, too little, too harsh, too soft, etc. But eventually, it becomes second nature. Good advice about keeping negging in a fun way.

Negging is fantastic, but I personally use them in a slightly different way. I tend to compliment but in a strange way that throws them off. For example one I used last night, on a pretty short girl: "Wow, you have so much energy! You're like one of those little Duracell bunnies!". She asked if I was making fun of her height and I told her of course not. then leant my arm on the top of her head gently. She seemed to find it quite funny. This was after the hook point though, but I'd still probably have used it earlier :p In my opinion negs are fine to use on literally almost anyone as long as they're delivered in a funny cocky way. I swear to god cocky / funny allows you to act however the fuck you want XD

think of negging as bullshit, because thats what it is! Lets say the total is 100. Negging assumes you have like 20 and she has 80. What the fuck!?!?! Think about it. Only YOU are putting yourself in the situation where you assume the girl is higher than you and you´ve got something to prove to her. Negging was made to make you look like you dont give a shit, but its really fake way of doing it. Rather just dont give a shit and do what you want. K.

Dude, whilst I agree with you, not everyone can switch their mindset just like that. It's extremely difficult and you're preaching it like it's really easy. Negging might be fake at first, but then it just becomes more and more normal and even natural after calibration. How does "Rather just dont give a shit" help if one in fact DOES give a shit? It may be "fake" as you call it, but all we're doing is really going from unconscious incompetence to conscious incompetence and conscious competence. Just my 2 cents.

...I have to assume most of you don't know what a fuckin neg is. A neg is a complement with one tiny aspect that is meant to keep a girl's ego in check. Insults are not negs, sarcasm is not negging. But yes, they are only necessary for women who are full of themselves and get hit on by 20 guys every day.

people alot of the times think that a neg is to insult or make her feel insecure, it is all in the calibration and reading the situation, you got a girl staring at you, eye fucking the shit out of you, touching her hair like it is made of fuzzy bunnies, and there is a giant wet stain on her pants, chances are you don't need to neg her, on the other hand, you walk up and say well don't you just look beautiful tonight, i would kick myself in the ass if i didn't come meet you, and she says yeah what ever, you probably say tha... at this point NEG HER, it is a good idea, OHHHH...
