Post subject:  dealing with rejection

so I am taking this acting class.
I asked this girl "do you want to do a scene with me?" she goes ok. Then I dont know why I did this...but I started saying i am a terrible actor and when i go up there i get nervous. why did i do this? because i am an idiot, i have no idea.

Then at the end of class, she says "you know, i think our schedules wouldnt be compatible...I work every day, so...
I started to feel rejected and i was pissed
I am thinking "WTF? what did i do this time? why another rejection?"
so I tell her "what about weekends?"
she works on weekends too. hmmm...

so I say "ok"
and then she pairs up with another girl. I am thinking "if she works every day, how can she pair up with this other girl?"

anyway, so I am pissed for the rest of the day, and I feel worthless, and "nobody wants me"
I know you guys say you have to go with the mentality that "anyone would be lucky to date me, if they dont, that's their loss, screw them"
but no matter how many times I tell myself this, I still don't believe it.
How can I actually believe this?

just a quick note: so I asked this other girl if she had a partner. she says no. So I tell her "let me get your phone no. so we can rehearse. she says she doesnt have a phone, but she can give me her email?

guys, WTF?

take the email, contact her and rehearse, just think of rejection more as screening, then actual rejection, you are screening out girls that will not work for you, there are shit tons of girls, just talk to more of them, every girl that turns you down, has been screened out because she was a waste of your time, get to the bottom of things, escalate, look and listen to what is happening and try to lead the interaction in a direction that is favorable to you, if things are not going well, try to redirect them through calibration

try to work on one thing at a time, if qualifying yourself is your big issue at the moment, spend 1 day at a time, focusing all day, the whole day, on not one time, mentioning yourself, or telling a story about yourself, or talking about yourself at all, only neutral subjects such as tv, sports, fashion, movies, pop culture, the weather, or other people, if you catch yourself talking about yourself, think about why you did, were you nervous? were you feeling insecure? did someone say something you thought was cool and you wanted to impress them with something you did that was similar to get them to like you? just be aware the more you consciously try to stop and realize what you are doing the more eventually you will just naturally stop doing it, but at first it will take practice

Fake it 'till you make it.
But you need to start with loving yourself. If you think you're not worth being dated by hot chicks why the fuck would they have to consider to? It's a goddamn privilige when you put time and effort in another.
What helps in improving is writing down your qualities. Both inner and outer.

Inner qualities can be intelligence, wit or conversational skills.
Outer qualities can be looks, height, posture or grooming.

Write down the qualities of which you are certain you have them.
Then write down the qualities you have when you're having a good day. It gives you an excellent excuse when you've just failed scoring a girl. You just happened to have a bad moment. It can occur to anyone and with the next set you'll be back at your upmost. It helps dealing with rejection.

First you are taking the rejection personal she was not rejecting you, she was rejecting the going up to stage and acting with you, because you get nervous you are a bad actor etc... ACCORDING TO YOU, then she was trying to save face and no do THE ACTING with you so she was looking for excuses to hint you that because of your bad acting, nervousness according to you she did not FEEL COMFORTABLE, and change her mind, so she was hinting you, you did not get the hints, (turn of 1), turn of 2 you keep pushing and pushing and begging for other alternatives. Basically you lack calibration, and you lack game(regular game) and inner game, for inner game i like Pastor Joel Osteen first 2 books, and Tony Robbins. But they say the good pua material if you choose that route would be the blue print, never had it though.
