Here's the situation: on facebook, I've started chatting again to a girl I met earlier in the year and we've run into each other at the local pub/club a few times but haven't seen her in a few months. In an offhand comment, I mention that we should head back there once our exams are over, and she suggests a day (I was planning on going then anyway). I didn't respond to this, but in her next comment she said something along the lines of "so next wednesday - it's a date, then? I'm writing it on my calendar as we speak." What do you think is a good CF response to this? I've already made a comment back, but I'd be interested in what other people think. |

Just say.. Yep, it's a date. The word date can mean many things. A date on the calender, a meeting between a man and a woman, etc.. Don't blow things out of proportion. It's just not a necessary action, and makes you look too serious. Besides you don't want the poor girl to get the wrong idea about your interest in her. You need to establish this interest immediately. |

I agreeDon't blow things out of proportion. It's just not a necessary action, and makes you look too serious. Besides you don't want the poor girl to get the wrong idea about your interest in her. You need to establish this interest immediately. By her saying that, she is already showing that she is interested in you. I would say "Sure" like she was the one asking you out on the date. Be casual but interested. |
