Sure, when in doubt you should always neg them. /sarcasm

Try "oh, it's cool it happens to all of us. You only get one though, so you're going to have to keep on your toes now." Finishing with the ending you usually use when you're teasing someone, whether it's a wink face or a 'haha'.

This isn't a case of her being disrespectful or doing anything on purpose, it was uncontrollable misfortune. Use a neg when you're trying to lower self-esteem, not when you've gotten to texting.

Why would you neg? She's basically saying "I like you!"

I would say set up a date right then and there if anything.

You can tease/joke/neg just a bit, as long as it's done in a playful way:

"Oh, I was devastated when I saw no response from you...cried all night long, called my mother...omg...it was sooo bad. Now I'm so much better lol...nah I'm just kidding. It's all good, shit happens...By the way, I want to go to (place) and want some good company...what are you doing (day)?"

I've been through similar situations, and a rhyme close to this one has worked just fine.
