Post subject:  Too Compliant

Basically, I was friends during the course of my summer job with a girl who had just ended a 2 year relationship. I then k-closed on the last 2 nights out, spent a day together and we left it on a note that we were both interested but would see what happened as job had just finished and were both busy all of September and live in different places.

I was then stupid and too compliant to a message - sent a long message back with things she might be interested in etc, wasn't thinking. Didn't hear back for a couple of weeks and ended up sending a longish/uninteresting text inquiring how she had been, and haven't heard back at all.

Is this position ever recoverable, given that I won't ever 'bump into her', though a chance she'll come visit a mutual friend near me, and so for us to meet again probably needs arranging.

My advice would be to stop thinking about this one, and move on to the next woman. She has clearly lost interest.

I agree with bansario, move on you lost the attraction you built and now she sees you more as a friend.

well, if you really like her, keep pinging her every few weeks, until she either tells you to not contact her anymore or comes and hangs out with you, either way, putting a huge emphasis on her at this point is probably not wise, try to meet as many other girls as you can while still pinging her every now and then, if she comes out with you, try to do better then before, actually show some interest in her, and try to sleep with her or turn her on, kissing is a good

Well, I think you made a mistake on not striking the iron when it was hot.

You kissed her? Well and good. You should've gone all the way with her that time.

Breaking that attraction and then, tagging it onto a future date is a mistake stupid guys do, you don't wanna do that. Remember it for the future.

Move on. There's nothing to be found here.
