I've read plenty of material on gaming, but in order to really attain a complete knowledge on it, I want to start from the very bottom. So can you guys post links to all the material you can think of which would comprise a complete guide to gaming. I suppose this thread would make a good one for sticky.

Here's a good link (in my humble opinion): www.bosproject.com

It has a complete guide going from how to improve your image to how to sleep with girls. It's a free-information website, and has a free eBook for Online game.

Hope you like it. :)

Just read Chief's Guide to Outer Game in the PUA Lounge.

And then stop reading. The material out there is all the same, just with different terminology. The reason is that the concepts you need are so fuckin basic, they are made complicated in order to sell you shit. Instead of reading, go out and do. You will learn 100x more in an hour talking to women than you will in an hour reading.

True, but for some people, it is actually positive to read some material beforehand. Many guys need to understand some basic concepts before they go out there to the field. It helps their development, and reduces the learning curve.

For instance, a guy who reads some good material about AA, may feel more secure about approaching women than someone without any knowledge in the subject.

My 2 cents... :)

Don't get caught up in to much material, going out and meeting women is the most important part of getting good.

Plus, improving your image, learning about how to sleep with women and practicing it, among others.

I think reading and learning is definitely important, as long as it's being practiced. :)

Normally I often agree with you, but if I take myself for example, I'm short, but a fairly good looking guy. I was one of those guys who for every girl did anything he could to try and make her happy. I'd always tell them how I felt way to soon, they knew to much of me. At first they liked me, and then lost interest because i did all these things. Also i attached to much to it (like if i get this girl, everything will be allright). And after they lost interest i tried to win them over with logic.... Also it made me feel superinsecure.

I've read somewhere you said you're a natural, so i could imagine that you wouldn't understand that if I didn't have reading material, i would never ever have known what my errors where, i would only stay depressed because eventually every girl would turn me down because of some fundamental errors. The thing was, i just didn't know what i was doing wrong and nobody could tell me what (until i found books like The game). Think about it, and please don't bash the people who learn these basics by books, some people (like me) need(ed) it.

Forcan, you are 100% right, the point is not too focus only on learning, you need to jump in the water, some people overload themselves with learning material, you need to know the attraction concepts, the basic, but at some point you need to go out and sarge. some newbies, keep delaying and delaying with the excuse of keep getting and getting info. at some point it becomes diminishing results/and confusing...I am a natural, but the community help take my game to the next level, specially david d, and neil strauss...

No man, that is bad advise, you should keep learning and learning, you never stop learning, but my point is while you are learning, SARGE, APPROACH, you should be reading a book a month about human relations, pua, inner game, biz, relationships, spirituality etc... never stop learning

true but the guy here doesnt seem to have a base. And trust me, i never say any untested thing. He must get a base 1st.
Think abt it, u are new nd u start reading
magic bullets,
natural game,
direct game,
4 elements of game,
if u do dat u gna get fucked up like hell.
Now if u chose 1 method and practice and internalise that, u can then move onto other stuff and mix it up. It's also recommended by sinn and gambler
