What is a good thing to say after a compliment that you give to a girl? Most of the time they'll say something along the lines of "thank you!" Rather than replying "You're welcome" or something...what's something clever to say that can add to giving you some points with her instead of just you're welcome or along those lines? |

What type of compliment, and what is the intent of giving it? For example, are you complimenting her looks? |

Yeah something like that. Complimenting something about their looks usually gets maybe a blush and a thanks. Was just wondering if anyone had any good replies to that rather than just acknowledging them thanking you |

You drop it. You complimented and she acknowledged it. People are always trying to milk it. Compliments to get stuff, like physical pleasure or a compliment back. The compliment is gonna stick in her mind better if you dont pay too much attention to it, she will remember for later. If it was sincere. |

I agree with Ezo and would only add that frequently it's best not to directly complement a woman's looks, especially if you are new at Game. Depending on how you deliver the complement, it can easily come off as needy. It's also something any attractive woman hears all the time, and so you've failed to distinguish yourself from the other wannabes that praise her all day long. I always liked the Mystery/Style approach on this. E.g. Quote: You know, you are a very pretty girl, but beauty is common… so you got lucky in the gene pool. What counts is a woman with an adventurous personality… energy, great energy and a mischievous streak. And what you make of yourself.
Another variation is, "so aside from looks, tell me three qualities you have that make you special." Here you're telling her that, yes, she's good looking, but you are selective and that alone is not enough. It also forces her to qualify herself to you. If she does so, that's a very good sign. This also opens up possible topics of conversation. If she says she's adventurous you can follow with "what's the most adventurous thing you've ever done." Note: you better be ready to get this question right back and have a good answer. Anyway, I hope that gets you thinking about ways to improve the overall interaction. Good luck -Zen |

Okay cool. Yea it wasn't like a direct compliment. It was in a text and we were talking about like being in the front of the stage in a dance competition and she was like "nooooo i wouldnt be in the front" so I was like "Why not? You dont think they could use a cute face front and center?" She replied and was like "blah blah oh and thanks for the compliment |

I don't think you really need to say anything. Flip it around. A girl says, "I like your shirt" or whatever. You say, "thanks, it was a gift from my ex girlfriend Angelina Jolie" or whatever. Does she really need to say "your welcome?" The conversation can just continue. |

Why the need to say anything? Just smile and continue talking. |
