| Post subject: | Awkward situation..recoverable? |
Ok, so I meet this girl last night at my friends apartment. We played beer pong together and she came back to my place to smoke. After we smoked, she got distracted by something at my desk so we talked about that for a while. Then she sat on my bed and things got really awkward. I know I should have made a move but instead I made an ass out of myself and she ended up talking to her friend on the phone and then leaving. (I had to leave with her cause my car was at the other kids apt). She gave me a hug at the end and it basically sucked as a night in general. I just didnt know how to kiss her with such awkward tension in the room. Anyways, I was wondering if I should message her on facebook saying this(were not friends on fb): "Hey, we should smoke and chill again sometime this weekend. It wont be so awkward this time. I was just having a rough day." Can someone please make this message sound better? Or should I just leave the situation be and say screw it? Thanks |

Don't send that message, don't point out the awkwardness, just act like everything is cool. Don't speak of it again. Chances are she thinks she screwed it up. BTW, that "awkward tension" was sexual tension, you just didn't know how to deal with it. |

Act like nothing happened. You are in control. Keep on gaming her. |

You can do all that or what the other guys have suggested. OR, you can simply let it go. I know I should have made a move but instead I made an ass out of myself and she ended up talking to her friend on the phone and then leaving. Thanks Men have the tendency to believe that we should always WIN no matter what. Sometimes it works, but most of the time, especially with women, it doesnt. You will spend time and effort trying to fix something that may not be worthy. Instead, go out there and try to get someone new. It will be less difficult, less awkward, and less embarrassing than sending a girl who was sitting on your bed a message about "meeting" again. We have all been there at one point or another...just let her fly... Send me a message if you have any other questions, or visit my website on the link below for some good information on this subject. Good luck champ. |

Hey everyone, thanks for the advice. I'm just going to let her go unless I see her again in which I'll probably re-sarge. I don't have any real feelings for this girl anyways. Although she is extremely hot, her personality is not that great. That was the first night I met her so if I see her again, ill act as if everythings cool. Onto the next one, thanks again. |
