All throughout middle school and the beginning of highschool (16 now) I would solely chill with my group of close friends. Over time we grew apart and they would stop inviting me to hang out with them on the weekends. Only recently, I came to realize these aren't the type of friends I want to have. School started two weeks ago and I haven't really made many new friends mostly because years of having a small group of friends has made me introverted when it comes to meeting new people. Another problem is the fact that everyone else has a group of friends but I don't, this makes it way harder to become friends with them. Right now I feel kind of depressed and lonely, having nothing to do on fridays and saturdays but sit at home alone. I thought it would be wise to ask this forum because I feel like many people here are on the same boat. |

What I did when I went to a new school is look for loners and be the alpha of my new gathered group. Yeah you're not the coolest kid in school but chicks will notice your alpha leadership qualities. And yeah², it won't be the prom queens you will hit but as you're 16 it will be a great learning school how to actually be an alpha and then by the time you're in your 20's it'll be a whole lot easier gaming (and by then you will be able to hit the prom queens)! |
