| Post subject: | How to carry a coversation for long enough? |
I can approach girls, have lowest level of approach anxiety ever and have a good social skills. One thing I don't understand is how to carry a conversation long enough. This mostly happens in college where I can meet a girl tease her neg her a little bit and find out the basic info about her but what should I talk about after. I can talk about many things but what I am looking for is for something that can be interesting and will raise my attractiveness. Or maybe I should just talk less and have a 10 minute interaction with her. Thanks in advance for answering. |

I find holding conversations with some girls to be torture and others to be easy and engaging. Obviously, I prefer the latter...mainly because it's usually a conversation that naturally flows. But, there are the girls that I just can't seem to have a normal conversation with. Like, you'll try to start a convo and just get no where with it. It's at that point I don't know what to do and usually panic and peace out. I feel like with girls like that you just have to have a bunch of stuff to talk about on the back burner (current events...random shit). But I definitely have trouble holding more than a 5min convo with some girls too and am interested in whatever someone has to suggest to you! |

have you ever heard of multiple thread theory? The basic idea of multiple threading is to pause your material(stories, routines) in the middle and start another conversational thread. If you think about the way you talk to your friends, you naturally do this. You don’t generally have a conversation about the weather and if another subject comes up ignore it because you’re talking weather still...like for example you:yea me and mike were watching this episode of friends last night, until we heard a bang on the door. it turned out to be an old lady who live beneath our flat, she was telling us to keep it down or shell call the cops...it was 4 in the evening..can u believe her?!!! her: bla bla bla bla (song pops up, 50 cents new song) you: hold up hold up, i luv this song it sounds really catchy, is it 50? oh man did u see what he did to himself for his upcoming movie? he lost like 100 pounds for a role his playing as a cancer patient. damn i know for sure when he finishes his final act, his gonna go straight to MCD's her: hahah bbla bla bla you: what will you do if they ask you to loose like a 100 pounds by going on a liquid diet for 2 million dollars? i for sure say hell no her : OMG bla bla bla listen you seem to be really awesome, but i have to leave cuz I'm gonna miss my class. can i get your number so we could continue our conversation late NUMBER CLOSED its really simple man just fucking come up with shit |
