I disagree with this guy. Don't laugh at all. Instead, just smirk slyly and turn your head slowly off to the side. When you laugh, it comes off as if you're overcompensating. Skills is totally right. Laugh. It is her little way of playfully telling you that you are pushing your machoness too far.

I still think you should just smirk slyly and turn your head off to the side slowly as if you've closed the deal. I'm a really simplistic person, no need to come up with creative comebacks or jokes. Witty comebacks and reframes (the reframe that juice man came up with for example) reduce tension.

The one talking is the one qualifying. Don't get me wrong, you SHOULD communicate with the girl but the problem with most guys is that most of the talking is extra bullshit and throwaway.

The golden rule is: Less is more.

You can laugh but you have to do it very discretely and seductive kinda like a..short "hmph" so it doesn't come off so cocky and sarcastic.

Now you're mentioning getting the girl to talk to you. See when you said that, to me that means that from your thinking, you expect the girl to talk to you, you want her to talk. Silence is your friend, I love awkward silences, perfect time for seduction. A girl qualifying herself to you would be one that's always doing the talking going on and on about herself and the world. WHAT Mystery and Style really mean is taking on that "adult" approach by treating the girl in a cold-like manner when needed in order to get her to qualify herself to you. Now look, they are perfectly correct. If a girl gives me problems, I smile and say pleasure meeting you and backturn or I would get distracted and move on. Now the problem with guys interpreting this concept by Mystery and Style is that making the girl qualify herself to you has now become a goal so guys deliberately attempt it like it's black and white. If the girl doesn't qualify herself..in their minds that girl is cut off. The whole "getting the girl to qualify herself" thing is not supposed to be a necessity in every situation, it's only a small part that helps with being attractive such as wearing cologne..think of it as an accessory in pick-up.

The real core of it is escalation. Thinking you should make the girl talk to you? No problem. Let the silence linger and get closer to her..make an overt touch move, seduce the girl.
