Post subject:  She takes for ever to respond to my texts! What's happening?

Hi guys

Met a girl about a week ago - have already met up with her twice since then. At first we seemed to have a really good rapport but now I feel like things have dwindled slightly over text, that may have something to do with me relinquishing control of the texting (stupid mistake which I am trying to rectify). Anyway on Sunday night she asked me if I was working on Monday and wanted to see if I fancied doing something. I told her that I had work so couldn't, but also said that I would have if I wasn't working. We exchanged a couple more text messages and then we just left it for the night (did not say goodnight though). Yesterday I decided I wouldn't bother texting her and would see if she texts me - it got to about 7pm and she sent me a text saying "today didn't go well :( x". I tried to be as supportive and caring as I could be without sounding too eager/needy. I then sent her a message at about 9.30, I didn't ask any questions so it didn't really warrant a response. She then sent me a text which involved absolutely nothing from my text to her - almost like the start of a new convo. I left it and then responded this morning at 11.30am it's now 1.38pm and I haven't heard anything - she isn't working today either.

I'm looking for suggestions on how to keep this girl interested and also how to prevent myself from thinking about her and worrying about if she will reply or not - I really like this girl but know that if I am not careful I will blow it!!

Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance guys!!

ok so she doesn't text you in what 3 hours and you're worried? Dude you need to get your crap in line.
you survived x amount of years without her texting you so you shouldn't be worrying now.

1, To keep her interested then you need to stop with the constant texting and arranged to meet up.
2, to not worry about her not texting you need to keep yourself busy.

Try developing text game first- everything you send should send a hormonal response through her- like she is excited to see it. Boring shit doesn't do that.

In response to her text: "today didn't go well :( x" you could have said something like, "silly girl, thats because I wasn't around, you should have seen this ______ I saw today, it was epic" I acknowledged she had a bad day, gave myself value, and probably cheered her up a little. Why the fuck would I be understanding, that's boyfriend stuff....did she earn that behavior from you? This is just an example...not something set in stone. Also, she knows you notice her not texting and she is playing you.

The only way you can stop obessesing over this crap (which is what she is making you do) is two things.

First, recognize M2's law of precedence. She is not the first girl you've gamed and she will not be the last. Keep it moving, dust it off.

Second- you should be gaming as many women as humanly possible and doing so many interesting things, that she will barely be on your radar. Which will make you all the more attractive and will keep you sane.

Hope this helps.

Have you considered making a phone call and cutting through all the crap?

Also, the whole thing about being supportive and caring - it sounds like you are investing too much of yourself into a girl you have no intimate relationship with. That could be the source of your problems. How to prevent yourself from thinking about her? Get more women into your life and have fun with your friends.

She actually likes you bro, but your playing games which is gonna be the reason you lose her. Your stuck in this " i wanna seem busy" and it's fucking you up. Why the hell do you keep taking so long to reply to her? You do that every time and she'll tire of you quickly. Be spontaneous. Switch it up. Some times respond instantly. Others respond 5 mins, maybe 10. And call the girl please. Have phone conversations. It's mandatory if you wanna get anywhere with her
